ICW: Payback! - GLASGOW, SCOTLAND

INSANE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
proudly presents
PAYBACK!
Sunday 28th February 2010
www.InsaneWrestling.co.uk

Tickets: £10
Doors Open: 6.30pm Bell Time: 7.00pm

Insane Championship Wrestling returns to the Maryhill Central Halls on the 28th February 2010 for 'PAYBACK!' The first of five ICW shows taking place at the 'Insane Asylum' in 2010 will see ICW Heavyweight Champion DARKSIDE going up against the man who almost cost him the championship at 'Fear & Loathing 2' 'BAD BOY' LIAM THOMPSON!

We will also witness the fallout from 'Fear & Loathing 2' were LIONHEART and his tag team partner for the evening RED LIGHTNING brutally assaulted B.T GUNN after there match with him and his partner CHRIS RENFREW. Luckily half the ICW lockeroom managed to stop the assault from going any further. Backstage both Lionheart and Red Lightning managed to smash up the majority of the lockeroom area after grabbing there bags on the way out the door. B.T meanwhile was taken to hospital and was told he had suffered a mild concussion, we can only imagine what the outcome could have been if no one had step in. What do Lionheart & Red have to say for themselves? Will BT Gunn & Renfrew demand a rematch? Many are also wondering if B.T's cousin WOLFGANG will have anything to say? The only way to find out will to be at 'PAYBACK!' on the 28th!

ICW has ran events sporadically from 2006 onwards but has always managed to make it's mark on the Scottish wrestling scene. From Drew Galloway(now McIntyre in the WWE) being crowned the first ICW Heavyweight Champion to Darkside's first class defense of the title against KID FITE at our last event 'Fear & Loathing 2' ICW has always strived to put on a show that it thought gave fans value for money and we now feel the time is right to attempt to cement Insane Championship Wrestling as a more prominent and permanent fixture in Scottish wrestling. We hope these 5 shows, roughly 8-weeks apart in 2010 will help us to achieve this, we would like to invite wrestling fans north of the border to come and see what ICW is all about, if you are not happy with what you see then after the second match of the evening i'll be standing by the front door, you can come over and if you wish to leave the event at this point i will offer you a full refund. I am confident that very few people(if any) will take me up on this offer.

At 'PAYBACK!' we promise more insanity along the lines of Wolfgang & Red Lighting's infamous Glasgow Street Fight at 'reZerection' in July 2007 which ended on a main road with Lightning getting sling-shotted head first into the shutters of Costcutter! Along the lines of the 5 way arena wide brawl between Liam Thompson, JACK JESTER, Darkside, Wolfgang & 'Thee' Drew Galloway where Darkside rolled up Galloway to become the NEW ICW Champion. On the 28th of February Scottish wrestling is gonna get lovein' INSANE!!!

Just added:

Wolfgang, B.T Gunn & Chris Renfrew Vs. Lionheart, Red Lightning & ?(To be confirmed)

At 'Payback!' we will witness the fallout from 'Fear & Loathing 2' were Lionheart and his tag team partner for the evening Red Lightning brutally assaulted B.T Gunn after there match with him and his partner Chris Renfrew. Luckily half the ICW lockeroom managed to stop the assault from going any further. B.T meanwhile was taken to hospital and was told he had suffered a mild concussion, we can only imagine what the outcome could have been if no one had step in. So on the 28th of February Wolfgang returns to ICW to team with his younger cousin B.T Gunn & Chris Renfrew to extract revenge in a extremly violent way(if Wolfgangs previous apperance in the Glasgow Street Fight is anything to go by). The only question remaining is who will Lionheart & Red bring in to even the sides up? Find out at ICW: Payback!

The following video was sent to the office of ICW on January 9th 2010. After much discussion we have decided it would be for the best to put this video online for the fans to hear what Ross Watson a.k.a Kid Fite had to say.

What does Mr. Boddington have in store for ICW?

Monday morning at the Sheriff Court in Glasgow and Mr. Boddington is once again called upon to defend Red Lightning after another drunken weekend in the city center. Now that Boddington and Lightning are no longer working together the question many people are asking is what are Charles Boddington's plans for Insane Championship Wrestling?

"He grabbed a lassie's arse!"

I may be biased, but Boddington is possibly the best manager in the UK today.

On a side note, it's great to see a UK indy that can afford those special invisible cameramen. It sure makes filming things like this a helluva lot easier.

DEATHMATCH ADDED TO 'PAYBACK!'

The Ministry of the Bizarre have today issued an open challenge to any wrestler in Scotland to show up 'Payback!' on the 28th and take on Jack Jester in a DEATHMATCH!

The Ministry of the Bizarre issued this statement:

OPEN CHALLENGE TO ALL SCOTTISH WRESTLERS

When asked why I requested a Death Match at ICW I didn't have a clear answer.
I couldn't say for sure why I wanted to be part of one of the most dangerous matches there is.
Especially when I don't even know who my opponent will be until the night of the show.
Is it to prove to myself that I can?
Is it to prove to other people that I can?
Or is it to simply prove a point?
Well I have a question. Why cant I just want something for no reason?
The past year in Scottish Wrestling has brought many changes my way.
And one big change is my attitude.
Screw politics.
Screw back stabbers
Screw sucking up someone's ass for bookings.
And screw anyone who thinks I'm going to lower my standards just to be more popular.
I do things because I want to and not because i need to.
I've made it this far in my career using my own judgement and I'm not about to change that for anybody.
So I suppose that is my answer.
I requested a Death Match because I wanted to, nothing more, nothing less.
And to any of my fans who are reading this and to all who have supported The Ministry of the Bizarre...Thank You.

Come the 28th it will be a first, for me and for Scottish Wrestling.
And it will be a pleasure knowing that you have all been part of it with me.

Until then.
Jack.
