The WWE Grand Slam Club

There have been Seven Grand Slam Champions in the History of the WWE.

4 of them have won it under the original definition (This being winning the WWE Championship, The I-C Championship, The World Tag Team Championship and The European Championship):

Shawn Michaels

Triple H

Chris Jericho

and Rob Van Dam

Under the revised rules three more have been given the status of Grand Slam Champion (This being that they must have won the European Championship while it was still around and also must have won The top three titles from either brand Raw or Smackdown):

Kurt Angle

Eddie Guerrero

and John Bradshaw Layfield

Currently there are Six other superstars who can still complete the goal of being Grand Slam Champ

All they need to do is win the WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title

These people are:

Val Venis

William Regal

Jeff Hardy

Test

Jeff Jarret

and Christian

Out of those six men will any one of them ever become a Grand Slam Champ and if so then who?

Val Venis - Nope! His push has come and gone! I'm waiting for the day WWE.com Annouce his release!

William Regal - I hope so, at the moment he is the only English that looks or is worthy of a World title run in 10 years! I do doubt it very much though!

Jeff Hardy - One Day! I say One Day becuase I know WWE seem to like Jeff Nad he is pretty Over (As is Matt Hardy!). I hope som he is the most likely out of the list!

Test - Shane McMahon was a admire of his, and Test was set for a huge push! I wonder what happened to that! If Test was the win a World title it would only be the ECW title (Of no one else was avavilbale to win it)

Jeff Jarret - Never!

Christian - I still fill he will be back in the WWE, like Jeff Hardy is now. He'd have got his chance he is stayed a little longer.

I think Jeff Jarrett would be the longest of the long shots, you got to believe that Jarrett will stay with TNA until he retires.

Christian- Another long shot, in my opinion, but like OMAR, I believe he'll be back in the future.

Test- If Big Show can win the WWE, WCW, & ECW Titles, then Test can. Test is better than Show in my opinion. He may suck, but not as much as Show.

Val Venis- Again, like OMAR, nothing is going to come of Val's career. He's doomed to remain a jobber/Heat talent until he is released, injured, or he retires.

William Regal- I'm still surprised he even made it up to winning the IC TItle.

Jeff Hardy- Although the most likely of the group, I still don't see him winning any of the top 3 titles. Of course, I didn't ever think Edge would win the WWE Title either, but he's done that. I think Matt deserves to win a WWE/World/ECW Title before Jeff, it seems like he's really worked hard and busted his ass for the WWE and he hasn't even won the IC/US Title. I believe he's due before Jeff.

Ya see, I'd have thought to be a Grand slam these days you'd need to hold the WWE Title, the World Heavyweight, the IC, the US & both tag titles. Personally I think using a defunct belt as a part of it makes very little sense.

I mean, you could be a SD Grand Slam, a RAW Grand Slam and a Unified Grand Slam if you'd held both sets.

That would change things a little, granted.

EG. Kurt couldnt be considered a RAW Grand Slam Champion because he never won the World Tag Titles, but would be a SD GSChamp as he held all 3 on that brand

HBK would only be a RAW GSChamp.

In fact, I cant think of anyone who would be a Unified GSChamp, so it would give them further things to aspire to.

As for the poll, the only who has a chance is Jeff Hardy, and I cant see it happening so none of the above.

You forgot Bret Hart - IC, Tag, King of the Ring (twice), World title, but of course I forgot that wrestling only began in the year 2000.

Nobody on that list, to me, is worthy of being remembered as a Grand Slam Champion.

I'd absolutely love to see Regal do it, so he could win a World title, but that will never happen, unfortunately. Jarrett will never be back in WWE, and Christian will never win a World title in WWE. And as for Test and Jeff Hardy, I hope and pray every day that neither of them ever do it.

And is Chris Benoit considered a Grand Slam Champion, since he's won a WWE World title? Surely if JBL is considered one then so is Benoit. I know he never won the European title but he's won both US and Intercontinental. Same for King Booker.
