I realized recently that Viscera has only won 2 titles in his long career (1-time WWF/E Hardcore Champion & 1-Time World Tag Team Champion), or 3 if you count him winning the 1995 King of the Ring. I believe that it's time for Vis to get a title shot, I think that Vis deserves an Intercontinental Title reign. I know some of you think that that's insane, but I think that he should. He's been around long enough. Not to mention, it's been quite a while since we've had a guy over 300 lbs. being the IC Champion (I think Kane was the last one). Vis being the 1995 KOTR should entitle him to something. The majority of WWF/E Superstars who have won the KOTR, have went on to accomplish big things. Stone Cold Steve Austin & Kurt Angle are 2 names that come to mind. Even Shamrock & Gunn got the IC Title. Everyobdy, except Viscera. who has won the KOTR Tournament has ascended to, at least, Intercontinental Champion. Bret & Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Edge, Kurt Angle, Ken Shamrock, Billy Gunn, Triple H, & Brock Lesnar have all won the KOTR and w/ Booker winning it, it doesn't matter if he gets the U.S. or World title, he's already been there, so Booker's KOTR win will probably go the opposite of other winners (he wins major titles before winning KOTR). My point is, Vis has earned his WWE status and deserves to get an IC Title run.

I think a Month or two as IC champion might be worthwhile for a laugh as his character is amusing and he's not horrible in the ring though not that good either.

Viscera is my favourite subject.

Viscera is probably the worst EVER wrestler that has EVER set foot in a ring. People blame Nash for having a bad run as WWF champion, I don't think so, he had awesome matches with Bret, Michaels... well mainly Bret. But he was put in an attrocious program with "Viscera". Obviously the whole thing stunk like a 3 month old dead pig. Viscera absolutley SUCKS to high heaven, he deserves NOTHING. His skill is that he's fat and he eats things. Traditionally the Intercontinental championship goes to really fine WRESTLERS, hence Bret, Perfect, Shelton, RVD and Ricky Steamboat. Viscera is a friggin' joke!! Just horrible, horrible, horrible! The King of the Ring 95' that he won is widely reguarded as the WORST WWE ppv ever, yes even worse than Smackdowns efforts in 2005.

What drugs are you on that you want that fat piece of crap as your IC champion? Seriously think about it for a while.

Oh I'm really fuming at this idea, which will NEVER happen by the way. Vince may be mad, but he's not a total retard!

Viscera won't, and shouldn't be used as anything more than a comedy character that's just used occasionally for cheap laughs or whatever, or as a guy to put over the new up and comers.

Viscera's a big guy, and a former King of the Ring, as you pointed out. If some heel comes out and just destroys him, it will give them some credibility and heel heat. Viscera isn't way over, but he's over enough that people wouldn't want to watch him be completely destroyed. And plus, because of his size and the WWE mentality of bigger is better, he'll always be treated as a threat, and most fans will believe he is to an extent.

But as for Viscera getting a IC title reign just because he won the KOTR during a bad period for WWE? That's crazy. Why should he get a title reign when guys like Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Masters, Randy Orton, Trevor Murdoch, Charlie Haas get the shaft? All of the above names are far more talented in the ring than he is, and a couple of them are far more over than he has ever been. (Carlito, Shelton, Orton) Maybe as a challenger in a throwaway match on Raw, but not as the actual Champion.

The only title I could see him winning would be the World Tag Team Titles with Val Venis, but the only reason they could win it is because of the state of the Tag division. Unless Triple H and Michaels take the titles, there are no face tag teams in the division besides the comedy team of Goldust and SNITSKY, and I don't see them holding the titles. Eventually Vis and Venis would have to win them if they don't bring in any other tag teams.

EDIT: Crap, I just remembered the Highlanders, and they appear to be coming in as faces, so there ya go.

Vis can not be any worse of a fatass character than Vader (even though Vader wasn't a fatass character, he was just a fatass) and he's won titles.

I'm not an asshole thanks mate. I just really, really see Viscera as the bottom of the barrell, why he is still there I wil never fully comprehend, his biggest move is an anal rape of other men, yet his charcter is a womaniser? Canyou see the problem yet? Utter nonsence. I wasn't having a go at you personally, just the idea that Viscera "deserves" anything set me off. He is without a doubt worse than Khali or anybosy else. He has NEVER had a good match, that is a fact!

And comparing him to Vader is just really ridiculous. You DO know who Vader is right? The former triple crown champion who had so many awesome matches in Japan and the U.S its frightening!!

Vader > Viscera, by a long, long way!

In a word - NO, Vis should NOT have an IC reign, when we have up and comers like Shelton in the division - it should be used as a stepping stone, not a "gift for long service".

Vader when used properly was a genuine monster mate. WWE, as it did with several "dropped balls" just didnt give him a proper push, or use him in a way that befitted his style. Im not saying he was the greatest ever, but he WAS better than portrayed in WWE. Vis, is just, well, mince, to be honest.

Possibly the worst idea I've read on TWO in while. Why give anyone a title just because they've been around for a while? Sure I could understand it with JBL, new gimmick etc and he turned himself into a top heel. Vis is nowhere near that and never will be so there is no point in giving him a sympathy strap.

Viscera is crap. He makes Henry look somewhat of a Kurt Angle in the ring compared to this idiot. I saw KOTR 95 qnd true I wasted number buying the DVD and it was the worst I have ever saw. I mean look at the torunment itslef. HBK and Taker and they still don't win! Should they didn't need it, but this big guy. He was a Biggie wannabe. I have never seen his feud with Nash but it just sounds crap.
