Yeah, what he said.

The reason Striker got a job with WWE was the publicity that Striker got when he was caught working a SmackDown show as a jobber and it was discovered that he had been working with Zero-1 MAX in Japan instead of teaching. He quit teaching and WWE gave him a full-time deal and let him keep the name, probably due to the mainstream news coverage it got.

To be honest, Striker and Punk don't surprise me half as much as R-Truth did. Since Chris Harris and Monty Brown couldn't keep their names, I'm stunned that R-Truth kept his.

But he didn't, not really. In TNA he was Ron "The Truth" Killings. Now it's R-Truth, like how Bryan Danielson got turned into Daniel Bryan. WWE Probably some some merit in the whole "Truth" gimmick so they didn't make him Johnny Dynamite or whatever.

hendy6661988 is on a distinguished road
R-Truth was in WWE before TNA and was called R-Truth then.

I have heard everyones comments on this thread about Daniel Bryan and I agree CM Punk has done fantastic but he is a minority against names such as Monty Brown, Chris Harris, Jerry Lynn, Juvi, Super Crazy, D'Angelo Dinero, Team 3D (towards end of there WWE careers), RVD (again towards the end), Test, Mr Kennedy, Kendrick that is just he list of guys the ended up turning into jobbers and midcard no bodies. Lets add to that the WWE bean to push guys like Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston which end up being a dead end. The only guys WWE ever push consistantly are Orton, HHH, Edge & Taker with out bringin in the next level of main eventers. WWE are narrow minded about the next talent. Before we know it Daniel Bryan will be wrestling the likes of Hornswaggle and Chavo Gurrerro in dark matches going no where. And mark my words CM Punk will not be the big superstar he is now in 2 years and in 4 will be back doing the indie circuit.

You may actually be right. Why do I have it in my head that Killings was known as R-Truth in TNA?

Maybe it's the theme song I'm getting confused with. I know for a fact that the theme song was used in TNA, so that's probably why I'm confused. And that's still weirder than Punk keeping his name (I know Killings sings his own song, but then Jeff Hardy sings his own TNA theme and WWE didn't let him use it).

Jeff Hardy's song was horrifyingly awful though.

Horrifying yes but it represented his personality a lot. And it was better then that stupid theme he was using for like a decade in the WWE.

Man I always find it odd when I remember Jeff Hardy is basically a product of the Attitude Era

I just couldn't take his TNA music seriously though. It just made him sound like... well... a warbling heroin addict who thinks his deep and meaningful and artistic, but is actually just drugged off his own balls. I don't particularly like his WWE music, but I certainly thought it was a lot better. I like all theme tune that have distinct noises at the beginning of theme tunes before the wrestler comes out, like Hardy's "Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeow" and Cena's "Do dodo dooooo" and Mankind's car crash, and Austin's glass shattering and The Rock's "Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?", and D-X's, "What's up... this on?", and Jericho's count down. I love little intro's like that that can just go off at any time, during a wrestler's promo or something, and, straight away, the crowd is up and on their feet cheering or booing away before the wrestler's even come out.

Yeah, he was K-Kwik for his entire first WWE run, then went to TNA and became K-Krush, then, whilst still in TNA, he became "The Truth", then we went back to WWE and was renamed R-Truth.
