Oh thank god. I can't stand Shelton Benjamin and I don't watch ECW so YAY!!! Good to see Swagger on RAW too.

I can't stand Benjamin either. So much promise but doesn't deliver in my eyes. He was okay when he was with Haas but since he's been on his own, nothing of note really.

In a way, ECW didn't exactly get raped in this draft. ECW isn't really supposed to be in competition with Raw/Smackdown, but it's a breeding ground for new stars who are just out of FCW to get their first taste of live wrestling in front of huge crowds on TV. And it's also where the veterans can come in to aid the younger talent to ensure they get the help they need to progress and become WWE's stars of tomorrow.

That is the ECW loss I'd be most worried about. As you say, ECW is supposed to let guys move up after they've spent time in ECW. So while losing Swagger, Bourne and the Harts will suck for ECW the show, it makes sense. But, why on earth would they take Finlay off the show? If they're going to debut new guys again they'd need him even more. |

I'd presume they took Finlay off the show and this is a spoiler for the next episode
and besides, Regal can do Finlay's job, plus he's much better than Finlay too. |

I had forgotten about that. Both of those things actually. So you have a point. Or two.

I liked the Smackdown and ECW trades, which looks to me to have improved their shows..except I think Finlay should've stayed on ECW...but Raw didn't need any more guys....Bourne should've went to Smackdown as well as Swagger...maybe Henry going to Raw is alright..and the divas moving to me didn't really matter.
