Trump Trade Discussion Thread

Before "selling" Monday Night RAW back to Mr. McMahon, Donald Trump had a fifteen Superstar trade between all three brands (I've dubbed it the "Trump Trade"). Here are the results of the trades:

Going To RAW
From ECW: Jack Swagger
From ECW: Evan Bourne
From ECW: Mark Henry
From SmackDown: Alicia Fox
From SmackDown: Gail Kim

Going To SmackDown
From RAW: Matt Hardy
From ECW: Finlay
From ECW: The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd, Natalya, & David Hart Smith)

Going To ECW
From RAW: Goldust
From RAW: William Regal
From RAW: The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki)
From SmackDown: Shelton Benjamin

Smackdown (on the male side) gained Finlay, Matt Hardy, Tyson Kidd and Harry Smith, and only lost Shelton Benjamin.

WRASSLIN.

Although, ECW is f*cked. No Swagger, no Bourne, no Henry, no Harts. If not for Tiffany and Zack Ryder's entrance music it would be totally and utterly worthless. Oh well, there's Christian and Shelton wrestling, I guess.

Gail Kim going to RAW is good, maybe now she might get a sniff of the Divas Title.

Jack Swagger going to RAW is such a shame, as he'll just end up in midcard obscurity. The only other interesting trade out of all of these is The Hart Dynasty heading to SmackDown!

I know the draft is pointless anyway, but this really makes a mockery of it - especially since Matt has only been off Smackdown for a couple of months

It's about time Swagger got moved to a bigger TV show and The Hart Dynasty getting more exposure can only be a good thing as well. The only thing that bothers me about the whole thing is how did Trump get the authority to influence the other two brands when Vince still "owned" them?

ECW's Roster: Christian, DJ Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Goldust, Hurricane Helms, Paul Burchill, Shelton Benjamin, Tommy Dreamer, Vladimir Kozlov, William Regal, Zack Ryder.
Gabriel is off TV, as are Jackson and Burchill, and Helms isn't ready to return yet. That leaves them with SEVEN male wrestlers for ECW tonight.

Smackdown just got even awesomer: Jericho, Punk, DH Smith, Ziggler, Edge, Finlay, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Tyson Kidd and the Undertaker. I see a DH Smith Vs Undertaker feud when he returns.

Raw got "boosted", I wouldn't say too much but they lost a few midcarders and replaced them with slightly better ones. I do think Swagger will get lost in the shuffle though.

Couldn't the dole que have gained The Bella Twins?

ECW is really just a feeder, which it was always destined to be but now its looking like a feeder which will put on a piss poor show every week which is a great shame as it was a really good hour of TV a week, with the people who have gone though I just can't see the standard being kept up now.
