Macho Madness - The Ultimate Randy Savage Collection DVD

Quote:
He was one of the most controversial superstars in history of sports entertainment, through his complicated relationship with Miss Elizabeth, his dramatic WWE championship tournament run at WrestleMania IV, the formation and explosive breakup of the MegaPowers with Hulk Hogan, his reign as the Macho King, and his shocking jump to WCW. “Macho Man” Randy Savage brought a chaotic poetry to the ring. He’s widely considered one of the finest in-ring competitors of all time, and his interviews were always a sight to behold. For the first time ever, fans can relive the entire storied career in Macho Madness: The Ultimate Randy Savage Collection, a 3-DVD set that spans two decades of exciting and intense matchups.

Not happy with the Macho Man DVD set at all, it's like watching an episode of afterburn with Savage matches. Anyone explain to me why Maria and Matt Stryker are presenting this, and presenting it VERY BADLY. Maria in particular is absolutley horrible on this. I suppose this is Savages punishment after all.

I think a documentary would have been more popular than these two idiots talking shite and even having a FLIRTING STORYLINE after every match.

WWE had a good thing going with the DVD's, not any more. There are MAcho bootleg DVD's knocking around that are way less insulting than this.

nWoHitman is on a distinguished road
Hey the Macho Madness DVD set is great just for the quality of matches on it. I was well surprised to see Matt Striker and Maria presenting the DVD but as bad as they were anyone is better than the awful Todd Grisham. I think Mean Gene Okerlund should have done the DVD as he was from Macho Man's era. As for Maria being on it i think she may have been put on it to comment about Miss Elizabeth and Sherri as they did play a part in Macho Man's carear.

Review @ Wrestling 101:

Quote:
The first thing you'll notice about this collection is that there is nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever, from Savage's career before he came to WWE on a full-time basis. It's an unusual step considering that almost all of the other profile DVDs featured pre-WWE footage (Austin, HBK, Flair, Triple H, Guerrero and Rey Mysterio all featured their early days), so why this collection isn't the same is a mystery...
