Could anyone tell me whats the difference between this book and the first one called Hitman? They both seem to have the same type cover.

I'm pretty certain they are the same book. Probably just marketed with a slightly different title and cover in the UK and USA.

I bought it recently, it's the best wrestling autobiography I've read so far. It definitley benefits from being released independently from WWE. I imagine if it had been a WWE book, there would have been loads of stuff that got scrubbed before release. I was amazed to find out that Bret actually has a sense of humour too, *** that never really came out whilst he was in his Hitman personna.

But everyone keeps saying he's released 2 books? Is it the same book released twice?

I checked with some of the sites on the web and it looks like this is the only book he's written with that name. It was originally released in May 2008 so it's a year old. It's coming out here in Canada in paperback next month. I may be wrong but that's what I've found so far.

Its been out in Canada for ages (as Fi said) but is only just getting released in other places aroud the world now, there is only one official book that Bret has written and a few unofficial ones written by others

'Hitman' that was mentioned is the Bret written book its just the way the cover looks outside Canada

OK, so are "Hitman" and "Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling" the exact same book? I thought I read somewhere that he has 2 books and he co-wrote the 1st and wrote the 2nd one completely on his own. Maybe I'm mixing him up with someone else am I?

As far as I know they are the same book, just outside Canada they dropped the 'My Real Life In The Cartoon World Of Wrestling' from the cover and just went with Hitman as the books name

Looking around he has only written this one book but there is another one out written by someone else

It's like Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, same book different titles. There is only one book written by Bret Hart to date and it is now called "Hitman". In Canada it was called "Hitman My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling". Like Nem says they just shortened the title when it was released overseas.
