That One Album...

Everybody surely has that one album or song with a special significance for whatever reason, what's yours?.

My favourite album would be Achtung Baby by U2. My favourite songs are always ones that I can relate to in my own life. Some fantastic songs on it like "One", "So Cruel" and "Whos Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" have at one time or another felt as if they were written with my feelings in mind, if you know what I mean. Achtung Baby also has some other great songs like "The Fly", "Until the End of the World" and "Mysterious Ways". So I'd definitely say that is the album of most significance to me.

I can't believe I'm going to admit to this, but Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park. It was the first ever nu-metal album I brought and I guess it was the start of the musical "era" I am in now, but that's the only tiny significant thing about it!

Other than that I'd say Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits because my grandad and I used to listen to it when I was about 5 and it just brings back nice memories. Money For Nothing seriously rocks!

Hmmm, i've grown attatched to my 36 Crazyfists album "Bitterness the star", tis a great album.

Close second and third were Soil "Scars" and Taproot "Welcome".

As a fav album, I'll go with either "Follow the Leader" or "Korn", both by KoRn, simply because they are the albums I listen to most and get most enjoyment out of.

As a special song, I chose "All Apologies" because I first heard it while going through a rough patch and being sick of being told what to do for petty things and this song got it absolutely correct.

What else can I be? All Apoligies
What else could I say? Everyone is Gay
What else should I write? I don't have a right
What else can i be? All Apoligies

Life after Death by the Notorious B.I.G has always bee special to me.

I didn't get the album, or even into liking hip hop music until after his death due to the fact I never got to hear it, but after hearing the album it became my personal fave and I wish I had got into hip hop music before his death.
