The SAW movies have all been released around Halloween, it's kind of a tradition. The poster is nicely done, and the movie is a sequel to the events seen in the first trilogy of movies, and not a prequel as many first thought.
Here is another great poster for the movie. (I'm in work, so can't post pics at the moment, which means the link will need to do). Quote:
Tobin Bell --- Jigsaw Scott Patterson --- Agent Straum Betsy Russell --- Jill (Jigsaw's wife!!) Costas Mandylor --- Hoffman Lyriq Bent --- Rigg Athena Karkanis --- Agent Perez Justin Louis --- Art Simon Reynolds --- Lamanna Mike Realba --- Fisk Marty Adams --- Ivan There is also been some confirmation of a fifth and sixth movie in the series. There is no word on any plot details or cast at this time.

Well, they need to top the first 3 films so should be Halloween's top film in 2007. Alot have been failing to scare us lately but SAW 4 will most probably make up for that.

Awesome, I can't wait. I love the Saw films, inventive (near?) death scenes make for entertaining viewing.

I seriously cant wait for this to come out. The Saw trilogy was friggin awesome and defined a new style of horror movie for me. I really hope this fourth version measures up to the other three.
It will be strange without Jigsaw and Amanda in it though

I'm a huge horror movie fan but not the biggest fan of the SAW series. I liked the first one although it had some major flaws. It was different and I liked how the film looked and it had some strong atmosphere. Saw II was decent enough and I did enjoy this one although I haven't bought it yet. I didn't like Saw III as the series was just getting too drawn out and it fell flat for me. They should ended the series after three leaving it as a triology. Now they are just milking the series to make some bucks. I don't see Saw IV being good at all but hopefully I'll be proved wrong. There's not too many franchises that have had strong movies after the third installment. I can't fathom that they are already talking about parts V and VI.

Im a huge horror fan too and I love the saw films but unless jigsaw is going to be in the movie all the way through and not just a quick flash back here and there then im not looking forward to it at all.
I get used to my bad guys and when they try to make sequals with different people and maybe different killers it just doesnt work for me. |
