Way hay! Finally got this in the mail yesterday and it is fantastic. I was expecting a fanatic style documentary and then the matches as extras, but the format is more like the Shawn Michaels:From The Vault DVD.

RVD talks a bit about his matches and then it plays. The extras are great and the matches are cool. Everyone should pick this one up if only to see him as Robbie V in WCW!

The Balls Mahoney match is underrated IMO, a bit like Balls himself really.

I agree, i was a big Balls fan back in the day. I loved how Joey always got him over by saying he was banned from amateur competition for breaking someones neck.

Have you seen him in the past couple of years, he looks like he lost like 60 pounds or something. He is way way thinner than his ECW days!

I haven't seen much of him since ECW folded TBH, but I don't think he had a bad match in the land of extreme. Joey Styles put him over everytime with that spiel.

And it takes something special to have a finisher being a 'simple' chairshot in ECW. There are a few that springs to mind for me. One against Corino at Living Dangerously '99, one against DeVito, against Tanaka (a series of three, with the third one making me jump) and against RVD in the match featured.*Way to get back on topic*

Good work getting back on topic . Anyways, i was surprised by the alternate commentary on the Balls match as it was RVD and Heyman? I liked on the ECW DVD the commentary done by Cole and RVD and was surprised they didn't leave this combination to do this match.

The main thing i liked was that they used a different RVD/Lynn match to the one included on the ECW DVD, rather than just using the same one (like they have done on other dvd's in the past, i must have 5 copies of Mankind/Michaels!)

Both Jerry Lynn matches are great, and much better than teh Hardcore Heaven match on the ECW dvd IMO.

The only one I'm not to enamoured with is the Barely Legal match with Lance Storm. Storm wasn't as accomplished as he would become, and it shows with his chairshots to RVD.
