The show opens with highlights from Final Resolution showing Jeff Jarrett retaining his championship against Randy Savage thanks to help from Nash and Hall. It also goes on to show Vince Russo unmasking after beating Dusty Rhodes down with a steel chair. We then cut to outisde Universal Studios for the intro Video to iMPACT. We go inside Soundstage 21 and the pyros go off and Don West and Mike Tenay Welcome us to the Impact Zone Tenay: Don West what an emotional and controversial night it was last night at Final Resolution, what the hell did Vince Russo attack Dusty for? Russo is meant to fired Don. West: You're right there Mike Tenay, Russo lost his job months ago thanks to the fans decision on TNAWrestling.com. And thats not all Mike, lets not forget that Lumberjack Match last night with Jeff Jarrett and Randy Savage, thanks to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Jarrett is still the champion and Savage is now gone from TNA. But it leaves a question Mike, who faces Jeff Jarrett at Against All Odds? Tenay: Thats a good question Don but for now lets take it to the ring for the first match. Borash: The opening match on iMPACT is scheduled for one fall and is for the X Division Championship of the world. Introducing first the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by Traci, from San Antonio Texas, he weighs in at 228 pounds, this is Michael Shane. And his opponent he is the current, reigning and defending X Division Champion of the World, From Mexico City weighing in at 237 pounds.."Mexican Unstoppable" Hector Garza. X Division Championship "Mexican Unstoppable" Hector Garza vs Michael Shane w/Traci The match went back and forth for a few minutes before thanks to Traci Michael Shane , the former champion, managed to get the upper hand. he worked on the left leg on Garza who seemed to be in a lot of discomfort for the most part. At one point when Traci got up on the apron Kazarian ran down and clubbed Garza with a big right elbow to the throat. However it backfired as Chris Sabin ran down to get rid of Kazarian and Garza pushed Shane into Traci then rolled him up for a 3 count and retained his X Division Championship Crowd-76% Match Quality-82% Overall-79% Backstage we are with Shane Douglas who asks The Kings of Wrestling about what they thought of Against All Odds and who they would all be facing. Jarrett: What a stupid question Shane, you know me better than anyone else, and you've seen the list of people Ive left laying in a pool of their own blood and the amount of people Ive destoryed and run out of TNA to keep my NWA Championship. Lets face it the Jarrett hitlist is longer than your arm, Jeff hardy, Monty Brown, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Aj Styles, Raven the list goes on and on. so to be blunt with you Shane theres no one worthy of getting in the ring with me and this is to all challengers Im sending out a flobal warning that you dont mess with the champ or the Kings of Wrestling, welcome to my world, welcome to Planet Jarrett Hall: Hey Yo. See me an Kev we got plans for Against All odds. Theres a couple of snot nosed kids we've seen and we dont like so we're going to do what we always do and thats destroy them and take over. So at Against All Odds we're making a challenge, Me and Kev against Aj Styles and Ron killings. Oh and guys Good Luck, hey yo! hahaha Rating-86% Borash:The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring the team of Bg James, Ron The Truth Killings and Empire Saint Pat Kenney. And their opponents the team of Glen Gilberti, Johnny Swinger and Kid Kash. Kenney, James and Truth vs Swinger, Gilberti and Kash During the match Tenay mentioned that both the NYC and BG James and Pat Kenney would be in the tag team gauntlet at Against All Odds for the tag team championships. The cheating from NYC and Kash was apparent from the start as they made took some cheap shots and distracted the referee which allowed the triple Teaming on Pat kenney. A hot tag and James gets in and cleans house. Gilberti goes down and as he strumbles to his feet Truth flies off the top rope with a Scissor Kick. BG and Kenney keep Swinger and Kash away and Truth makes the cover for the win. Truth then gets a house mic and points to the stage and tells that he doesnt know about Aj but as for Truth facing nash and Hall, theyre on. Crowd-67% Match Quality-65% Overall-66% Backstage Douglas is now with Vince Russo and asks him about what went down and if Russo knows what will happen next since the DoA is now out of action and in a hospital bed Russo: You know why i did it Shane, its because these people didnt vote me out of a job, they were manipulated by Dusty Rhodes, and what a rubbish Director Of Authority he has been. He brought in Randy Savage to try and combat the Kings of Wrestling and now Savage isnt even in TNA hes in a hospital in Florida somewhere. Me on the other hand Ive been to the board of Directors and they have said that while Dusty is out of action, then I'm the new acting Director of Authority and while Dusty only does things in half measures, I dont. So the match with Aj Style and Truth vs Nash and Hall will take place at Against All Odds, and Jeff Jarrett you say no one in TNA is worthy of a title shot. i think you're wrong Jeff. Because at the pay per view you will face Monty Brown, and you'll face Jeff Hardy in a the Second Ever King of the Mountain match. Oh yeah and I realise thats not a lot of opponents for a King of the Mounatin match so jeff there is someone else in that match and tonight he'll be in action one on one with Jeff Hardy in the main event. Have a nice evening Rating-78% Guilty hits as the Tennesee Cowboy and the Wildcat make their way to the ring for tag team action as Borash announces them as the tag team champions in a non title match Borash: And their opponents being accompanied to the ring By Raven and Erik Watts, representin the New Gathering, they are the team of Julio Dinero and Cm Punk New Gathering w/Raven and Watts vs Americas Most Wanted Americas Most Wanted completly decimate Punk for most of the match. Isolating him from his corner. Punk eventually makes a tag but is put down by Harris who then tags in Storm. Raven and Watts look on from near the announce booth. However Watts soon gets up from his seat and walks down the ramp looking shouting at Punk and Dinero. The ref shouts back at Watts telling him to get back as raven looks on smirking. Punk then hits a steel chair around the back of Storm as Dinero punches Harris knocking him off the apron as Punk gets a 3 count. The New Gathering then leave as Harris shouts at Storm as he gets up. Theres some shoving going on but Storm says he sorry and Harris leaves in a fit anyway leaving Storm looking on at his fustrated tag team partner. Crowd-83% Match Quality-74% Overall-79% An advert for Against All Odds plays before recapping what Russo said earlier about two of Jarretts opponenets in the main event and that one of them was a mystery opponent. Back in the Impact Zone the Charismatic Enigma makes his way to the ring for the main event. Some music plays but no one appears, the entire studio goes black and a green spotlight appears on the stage. Someone steps forward into the light through the tunnel as we hear a loud Come On from the PA System the pyros go off and we see its Sean o'Haire making his debut in TNA Mike Tenay: I dont believe this Don can you, its Sean O'haire one of the hottest comodities in wrestling today and a Mixed Martial Arts fighter here in TNA. West: I know Mike Tenay its great, Im a big fan of this guy he can do great things here in TNA and think about it, what an oppurtunity he has here straight away, this guys in the King of the Mountain match At Against All Odds, you have to wonder whats going through the mind of Jeff Jarrett at the moment. "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy vs Sean O'Haire They lock up center of the ring before O'haire uses an amateur take down to take Hardy down. He uses his size and power to keep an advantage and work on the back of Hardy, however Hardy gets fired up byt he crowd and then manages to connect with a couple of unique kicks before taking his shirt off and climbing the turnbuckle to the top rope. He signals for a Swanton Bomb and he goes for it but O'Haire just manages to roll out of the way. Hardy rolls over on the mat with pain as O'Haire then climbs the top rope and hits a devastating Seanton Bomb, his version of Hardys finisher on jeff. He gets up and signals for the Widow Maker but suddenly from nowhere Monty Brown gives O'Haire the pounce. O'Haire holds his shoulder in agony as Brown then looks to give Hardy one, but hardy moves out of the way and lowblows Brown before delivering a Twist of Fate. As Hardy gets back to his feet O'Haire then delivers the Widow maker to Hardy. O@Haire turns around and is hit over the head with the guitar as Jarrett stands over all three men laughing holding his title as he shouts at O'Haire welcome to TNA son and iMPACt gooes off the air Crowd-89% Match Quality-80% Overall-83%

Russo back equals good thing.
Randy Savage gone equals good thing. West portrayal is good, I can imagine him saying the things you've written. Garza gettin the win, that's cool, the way he did presumably will set up some sort of x division tag match with sabin & garza against shane & kazarian. that'll be entertaining enough. Sean O'Haire = quality. JArrett hitting O'Haire with the guitar made a lot of sense, it's a pretty standard TNA greeting from JArrett and it made sense that he did it to him too. Looking good and Against all Odds looks set to be a decent card. I'm liking what I've read so far. At some point down the line I'd love to see you build towards some sort of O'Haire Vs Monty Brown match. It's the sort of main event that should be built over months, rather than weeks in my opinion but if it's built right with both guys looking dominant it could have the sort of intensity that is worthy of a massive main event. iMPACT opens up with a video highlighting the problems between Americas Most Wanted and shows us that tonight Wildcat Chris Harris and Cowboy James Storm will face the tag team of Glen Gilberti and Johnny Swinger. The vdeio then shows us Russo coming back into power and announcing King of the Mountain 2 for Against All Odds, and shows how Sean O'Haire came in as the mystery opponenet for the 4 way match and a one on one match with Jeff Hardy and how Brown, Hardy and o'Haire all started to brawl before JJ came down to spoil the party and hit O'Haire with the guitar. The titles roll and we go live into Soundstage 21 at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida and the pyros go off Tenay: Welcome to iMPACT everyone, tonight what a main event we have lined upi for you as The Alpha Male Monty Brown goes one on one with Sean O'Haire after the controversy of last week, and Don thats not all. West: Thats right Mike Tenay because how about Americas Most Wanted who last week weren't on the same page this week they face the team of Glen Gilberti and jonny Swinger of the NYC. Tenay: Lets take it to the ring for the first match Borash: The opening contest on TNA iMPACT is scheduled for one fall , introducing first from Gainseville Georgia, he weighs in at 220 pounds, he is the Phenomenal ...A...J....STYLES. And the opponent from Johnson City, tennesee, he is the Notorious K.I.D..Kid Kash. "Phenomenal" Aj Styles vs Kid Kash AJ Styles showed his furious side as he absolutely demolished Kid Kash with his unique style and his unrelenting attacks. Kid Kash at one point managed to get the upper hand with a lowblow but he made a vital mistake by going to the top rope for a frog Splash. He missed it and Aj Styles recupperated enough to hit a Styles Clash and earn a 3 count. After the match Aj Styles grabbed the house mic from Jeremy Borash. Aj: The Kings of Wreslin, you know what i wasnt here last week but i watched on my tv back at home and what i saw was a couple of has beens, no no make that a couple never beens talking trash about the Phenomenal One and Ron The Truth Killings. Now thats fine but you see i also heard you two losers issue a challenge for Against All Odds for Aj Styles to team with Ron killings to take on you. Truth accepted and you know what I'm more than you can handle but if you wanna take your chances and step into the ring with the Phenomenal Aj Styles then its your own fault. Against All Odds Tag Team match is on. Crowd-59% Match Quality-67% Overall-62% 3 Lives Kru music hits as iMPACT returns from a break and BG James and Pat Kenney make their way to the ring as Borash announces them, When in the ring BG takes the mic away from JB. BG: I wanna take this oppurtunity to welcome Orlando Florida...to the dawwwwg house. And now thats over and done with lets mix a little of the old school with the new. Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, TNA Wrestling proudly brings to you the future NWA Tag Team Champions of the world, Patty Kenny and B-Jizzle of not one not two but the 3 Live Kru. Lets do tha damn thing. Machine then hits and Michael Shane and Kazarian walk out onto the ramp with the lovely Traci. Borash introduces them as The New Future while Tenay comments on the name and about their recent problems with Hector Garza and Chris Sabin. Tenay then mentions that Shane and Kazarian however have added their names to the tag team gauntlet so their problems with Garza and Sabin have been put on hold for now. Michael Shane and Kazarian vs BG James and Pat Kenney Shane and Kazarian perhaps preyed on the mix matched tag team of Pat Kenney a former NYC member and BG James of the 3 Live Kru who had only teamed once before this match. Shane and Kazarian picked a weak point of Pat Kenney and worked on it for most the match making quick short tags to keep fresh. Eventually Kenney made the tag to BG James and BG cleaned house. Hector Garza then walked out onto the stage to watch as BG then hit a Punphandle Slam on Shane as Kenney threw Kazarian out of the ring and the ref made the count. Garza stood on the stage applauding. Shane saw it and laughed as Garza turned around and got a shot to the face with his own X title from a hooded man. A bloodied Garza struggled down to the ring and the masked man , Shane and kazarian beat on Garza. The hood came back and it was Sabin which shocked everyone in addentance. by this time James and Kenney had seen what was happening and they ran off the trio of Sabin, Shane and Kazarian and checked on Garza as we went backstage with Shane Douglas Crowd-65% Match Quality-60% Overall-60% Douglas: haha thats right Im standing here with Raven, and we gotta ask Raven ,where have ya been? Raven: Where have I been? Dusty Rhodes has been politicing me out of this company ever since he took charge. For the past 4 weeks Ive been sat at home watching TNA and wondering to myself why am i not on TNA? And i realised that its no use sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring, i have to go and make a statement and show Russo that im worthy of being on this show because I am the best man in TNA, Russos been keeping me off just like Dusty did so toniggt i say this to you Shane Douglas The bowels of retripubtion run deep, teh hill i try to clim is steep But tonight i take control of my destiny Leave some one in blood looking up at me magled and bruised Bloodied and hurt Ive been forced to sit at home well no more, Welcome to the Terrordone Quote the Raven nevermore Non Title Match Americas Most Wanted vs NYC Team Canada Coach Scott D'Amore came to sit at ringside during this one and watch two of the team in the tag team title gauntlet at Against All Odds. Americas Most Wanted obviously knew the NYC from their many battles in the past and they used it to their advantage but everytime they got a nearfall the other member managed to break it up. Eventually James Storm superkicked Swinger out of the ring and followed up. Harris then set up Gilberti for the Catatonic but D'Amore scooped his foot with the hockey stick and distracted Harris which allowed Golberti to get a quick rollup and score the cheap win pulling the tights. Storm not seeing what happened got back in the ring and argued with Harris with what happened. Harris tried to explain tht D'Amore used the hockey stick but Storm, stormed off back up the ramp leaving harris this time in the ring wondering about what was going to happen at Against All Odds. Crowd-67% Match Quality-74% Overall-70% Tenay informs us we're about to go backstage where someone has been attacked. We cut backstage and theres a frenzy in the backstage area as we see that Sonny Siaki is lying face down on the floor with a t-shirt over his head. Russo rushes in to see whats happened and he pulls the t-shirt off and looks at it before storming off. The camera pans down to look at the shirt and its a Raven shirt. Did he do this? And if so why? Rating-76% It was then time for the main event of the evening and Sean O'Haire returned to the iMPACT zone after debuting last week, this time for a match with The Alpha Male Monty Brown. But before things could get started the music of the champion hit and Jeff Jarrett with guitar and belt in hand walked down to sit with Mike Tenay and Don West/ This obviously distracted Brown and O'Haire but as the bell rang for the start of the match the music of Jeff hardy hit and he then pulled up a seat with Tenay and West too and JJ and Hardy argued on the mics and belittled each other "Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs Sean O'Haire O'Haire took the early advantage on Brown as he used some of his martial arts background to gain the upper hand. However this was the first meeting ever between the two and it seemed that O'haire had perhaps under estimated the Alpha Male who fought back to his feet. After a bried brawl this time it was the Alpha Male who took control and he dominated with some power moves and big right hands to keep O'Haire down but only ever managed a 2 count at best. Brown was clearly feeling pumped up as he went for the pounce but O'Haire ducked and pulled down the top rope and Brown went flying over the top. At this point Jeff Jarrett was in the ring as Brown stumbled to his feet on the outside JJ pulled back the guitar ready to hit O'Haire again for the second week in a row but Hardy grabbed the guitar swung JJ around and smashed it over his head. He then got out of the ring as O'Haire looked at a bloodied Jarrett he turned around and got a Pounce for his troubles and Brown got the 3 count. What does this mean for Against All Odds? Is this a sign of things to come. With that TNA went off the air. Crowd-76% Match Quality-81% Overall-78%

Decent enough show. Now, just a few points though.
Sabin's turn I liked however I would perhaps have drawn it out a little longer. Maybe had Garza getting attacked for a few weeks by this hooded man. Strangely it always happening when Sabin wasn't there, only for Sabin to turn up later in the night. That sort of thing before having Sabin turn and reveal at the PPV or something. Styles and Kash got really low ratings. I know that's just a game thing but it realyl surprised me. Siaki gettin attacked by Raven. I hope this leads to some sort of Siaki pushed. He's got a lot of talent and could be a big player in the future of TNA with the right push. I hope he wasn't just a random guy getting attacked and it leads somewhere for him. The angle where Raven was just going around randomly beating people up would work just fine, but, I just feel that if that was the case it shouldn't have been Siaki, and should have been someone a bit more useless like D Ray or Shark Boy or something. O'Haire Vs Brown, I liked how it all played out and that there was no decisive winner. However I do feel taht it was wasted on a tv show and not a major PPV main event. I would have liked to have seen this one build up over about three to four months. I know it still can but I'd have preferred the major match between them somewhere down the line to have been the first time they'd faced, not the second. Good show though and I'm really interested to see what happens next. |

I like where you seem to be going with this. I'll wait a few more IMPACTs to see if I'm justified in saying "cool", but so far, so good.
