At our last Asylum show, the entire landscape of AWW changed. We have a new AWW Champion in MK Mikinan, new (and first ever) Tag Team Champions in Carnatio, and a brand new AWW Commissioner, Lucian L. Jones. Join us at Yardley Wood to see what happens next in this brave new world…

Non-Title Match
AWW Champion MK Mikinan vs. Kid Glory

MK Mikinan is on top of the world right now, and for good reason. Not only did MK win the AWW Title at the last Asylum show, but he finally put to rest the months of torment and abuse from his former mentor Dan Ryder. Ryder was not the only person Mikinan had to contend with that night, as Kid Glory also interjected himself into the title match, looking to cost MK the match. Thankfully Glory was ejected from the building by the new commissioner, but the Notorious K.I.D. has continued to make a nuisance of himself around AWW HQ, demanding a contract so he can get his hands on his former tag partner Mikinan.

Commissioner Jones has come to the decision that Kid Glory can have a new AWW contract on one condition…that he can beat the brand new AWW Champion in a non-title match. Two former friends clash, with Mikinan eager to show his title win was no fluke, and the embittered Kid Glory looking to get back into the company at his former buddy’s expense.

Can Mikinan prove once and for all that he was the better half of Sweet Sensation, or will Kid Glory rain on the new champion’s parade? The only way to find out is to be there on July 1st!

We've got more matches lined up for this Thursday, read on to find out more...

Dan Ryder vs. “The Assassin” Dave Williams
Desirable Danny D may be gone from AWW, but his decisions are still having repercussions around the company. Dan Ryder is still upset at being stripped of the AWW title by Danny D two months ago, and seeing as how Danny D isn’t here anymore, Ryder has decided to take his frustrations out on what he considers to be the next best thing, Danny D’s former right hand man, Dave Williams.

Williams distanced himself from Danny D at our last Asylum show, after months of verbal and psychological abuse whilst in the employ of the former commissioner. Now renaming himself “The Assassin”, Williams is determined to erase the memory of his history with Danny D and strike out on his own. The first step to doing this is to defeat Dan Ryder at Yardley Wood.

Will Dan Ryder bounce back from his defeat at The Birthday Bash, or will Dave Williams make his new start a successful one?

Carnatio vs. The Young Gunns
Carnatio have been in non-stop party mode ever since becoming AWW’s first ever Tag Team Champions at our 7th Birthday Extravaganza, both Carnage and Heratio having worked so hard for so long to gain those titles, that they are planning to enjoy every second of being champions.

Conversely, The Young Gunns are not having the greatest of times at the moment. Both Tommy Gunn and Joey Sanchez have been very vocal about how they feel they haven’t been used to their full potential, talking in particular about how they could easily defeat the Tag Champions.

When news of this got back to Carnatio, their answer was simple…”Bring it on!!” So The Young Gunns will get their chance to prove they can make it in AWW, but they will have to defeat the AWW Tag Team Champions to do it. Facing Carnatio is a daunting prospect for any team; do The Young Gunns have what it takes to prevail?

Lucian L. Jones vs. “The Sheriff” JK Royde
The Birthday Bash was not a good night for “The Sheriff” JK Royde, who came perilously close to losing his undefeated streak against the returning Nick Knight. Ever since that night, Royde has been taking his frustrations out on anyone and everyone in his path, including making some rather choice comments to our new AWW commissioner, Lucian L. Jones.

Royde ran his mouth to Jones, regarding their last match at Walsall, where Lucian was disqualified, giving “The Sheriff” yet another win. Royde believes Jones had to get himself intentionally disqualified, as he knew he was only a few seconds from defeat. In reply to this Commissioner Jones has told JK to put his money where his mouth is, and has scheduled a match between himself and Royde for Yardley Wood. Will “The Sheriff” finally suffer his first defeat, or will our Commissioner wish he had stayed behind his desk instead of getting back in the ring?

Find out yourself, by being there LIVE!! in Yardley Wood this Thursday 1st July!!

Tenacious Lee vs. Joey Starr
Two of AWW’s young lions square off at Yardley Wood, both looking to make their mark in the company. Tenacious Lee is still without a win this year in AWW, and so far there’s been no sign of his luck changing. Lee isn’t one to give up though, and believes firmly that whatever doesn’t kill him will make him stronger.

One man looking to put this adage to the test is newcomer Joey Starr. Starr is relatively unknown in AWW, but is looking to make sure that everyone will leave Yardley Wood knowing exactly who he is. Will Tenacious Lee finally be able to turn his luck around and secure that elusive win, or will Joey Starr use Lee as a stepping-stone to greatness in AWW? Find out this Thursday night at Yardley Wood!!
