After the chaos of our previous show at The Asylum, AWW rolls into West Bromwich with yet another night of fantastic wrestling action planned. Matches announced so far:

AWW Championship Match
Dan Ryder © (w/Mrs Ryder) vs. Lucian L. Jones

You’d be forgiven for thinking the L in Lucian’s name stood for “livid” this week, as “The Duke of Jonestown” is positively enraged at both Dan Ryder and Commissioner Danny D for cheating him out of what he considers to still be HIS title. Following a promptly arranged meeting with AWW Management, the decision has been made that even though Spud is now Number One Contender, “His Highness of Flyness” should be allowed a fair rematch for the AWW Title first. Cue Danny D going apoplectic about Management’s decision, but there is nothing even The Commissioner can do about this, as the board have dictated that Danny D is BANNED from ringside! The rematch is set for this Sunday in West Bromwich, so can “The Sultan of Swagga” regain the AWW title in front of his hometown fans, or will Dan Ryder put a crimp in everyone’s night by holding onto the title he’s worked so hard to finally win?

Dave Williams vs. Tenacious Lee

The last thing Dave Williams expected at The Asylum was to have the crowd on his side, but by the end of his exertions that evening the fans were cheering him on to finally put a stop to Danny D’s tyrannical rule. Following The Asylum match, Tenacious Lee has requested that he be allowed to have another match with Williams, feeling that he could pull off what many would consider to be an upset by beating the larger man. Does Lee really have Dave’s number? How will the crowd react to Dave this time? What else could Danny D possibly have planned for his “right hand man”? Find out at West Bromwich on Sunday!

MK Mikinan vs. Anarchy

Mk Mikinan hasn’t been on the greatest of runs recently, losing not only to Dave Mastiff at Walsall, but allowing himself to be distracted by Mrs Ryder at The Asylum, giving JK Royde yet another victory. Young MK has made it clear that he wants Dan Ryder, but with his former trainer now being the champion, that’s easier said than done! The only way for Mikinan to make this happen is by getting back to his winning ways, but that’s going to be no simple task as MK faces off against Pretty n Punk member, Anarchy at West Bromwich. Anarchy is still in a foul mood following his team’s defeat in the Tag Team Tournament Semi Finals, and you can bet he’ll be looking to beat up on anyone that gets in his way. Can MK get back on track in his hunt for Dan Ryder, or will Anarchy rule in West Bromwich?

“The Sheriff” JK Royde vs. “Thee Magnificent One” Heratio

The undefeated JK Royde will be looking to claim another victim at West Bromwich, this time in the shape of Tag Team Tournament Finalist, Heratio. “Thee Magnificent One” is riding on cloud nine at the moment, after he and Carnage secured their spot in the final, but Royde will be hoping to bring Heratio’s dream crashing down around him. Can Heratio end Royde’s unstoppable winning streak? Will the tag team wrestler fair as well in singles competition? Or will “The Sheriff” continue to prove he is the man to beat at the moment in AWW?

All this and more is coming your way on Sunday 7th March, at West Bromwich Labour Club. We hope to see you there!

To fill you in a little on what's hapened in the run up to this show:

Quote:
AWW @ The Asylum
February 26th Results

AWW’s 2nd show at our new home is certainly one that won’t soon be forgotten by any of the fans in attendance. After a night of thrills, shocks, and more than a couple of surprises, the landscape of AWW has changed again. Not only do we have the participants for the AWW Tag Team Title Tournament final decided, but we also have a new number one contender to the AWW title. And speaking of the title…well read on and find out!

MK Mikinan vs “The Sheriff” JK Royde

True to his promise, MK Mikinan came into this match all guns blazing, the young star pushing “The Sheriff” further than any of his previous competition. The match went back and forth with MK giving as good as he received. Unfortunately for Mikinan the intimidating size and strength of Royde proved too much, with “The Sheriff” managing to maintain his unbeaten streak thanks to a distraction by Mrs Ryder.

Winner: The STILL undefeated JK Royde

AWW Tag Team Tournament Semi Final 1
Pretty n Punk vs Carnatio

In a heated encounter, both of these teams threw everything they had at each other in pursuit of a place in the Tag Tournament Finals. The match saw Carnatio and Pretty n Punk fighting around the ring, on the stage, through the crowd, and even INSIDE the ring once or twice. The “Odd Couple” of Carnage and Heratio finally managed to prevail, not only winning the match but securing themselves the first spot in the Tag Team Tournament Finals. Carnatio know only one more match stands ahead of them and their dream of being the first ever AWW Tag Champions, but will they be able to make those dreams a reality?

Winners: Carnatio

10 Minute Gauntlet Match
Dave Williams vs Brad Taylor & Tenacious Lee & ???

Poor Dave Williams. Not only has it recently been revealed that Desirable Danny D owns the mortgage of Williams, but it now seems that Danny D is intent on ramping up the pressure on his right hand man. The Commissioner of AWW set the challenge of Dave having to win his match in 10 minutes, or it was bye-bye mortgage payment. Dave got off to a flying start, taking apart Brad Taylor in less than 4 minutes, and thinking he’d secured his family’s well-being for another month. But Danny D then revealed that Brad was only the FIRST of Dave’s opponents. It was then the turn of Tenacious Lee to try to upset Dave’s evening, and Lee tried his best, wearing down Williams, but finally succumbing to the power of the bigger man. 2 down, and surely Dave’s mortgage payment was secure? Unfortunately that was still not the case, as Danny D revealed Dave’s final opponent to be…himself! The Commissioner forced Dave to lie down, but made the mistake of taking his eye off his right hand man, allowing Dave to score the pinfall with a quick roll up, with just seconds to spare. Danny D is not a happy man, but Dave Williams has once again provided for his family when they need him most.

Winner: Dave Williams

AWW Title Number One Contender’s Match
“The Rockstar” Spud vs Derice Coffie

The Rockstar’s much talked about return promised to shoot him right bac to the top of the company, provided he could overcome “Jamaica’s Number One Bobsledder” first. Derice threw everything he had at the former champion, pushing “The Rockstar” to his limits, but once again Spud showed why he was champion for over a year, finally managing to secure the victory, and finding himself named Number One Contender to the AWW Championship.

Winner: “The Rockstar” Spud

AWW Tag Team Tournament Semi Final 2
Fight Club Pro vs The Hunter Brothers

In what many fans were calling “Match of the Night”, The Hunter Brothers faced off against the FCP invaders in a brutally hard-hitting match. Perhaps most surprising to the fans in attendance was the more aggressive attitude adopted by Lee and Jim Hunter in their hunt for Tag Title glory, with both Hunter Brothers not being afraid to give FCP a little of their own medicine. The match swung back and forth, both teams putting it all on the line to advance to the Tag Tournament Finals, but The Hunters Brothers proved to be too much for FCP to handle on this night, winning the match and completing the line up for the Tag Team Tournament Finals. The question is will the Hunters be crowned the first ever AWW Tag Champions, or will that honour fall to Carnatio?

Winners: The Hunter Brothers

AWW Title Match
(If Jones gets disqualified or counted out, he loses the title)
Lucian L. Jones © vs Dan Ryder (w/Mrs Ryder)

In a match just as brutal as their previous encounter in Walsall, Jones and Ryder battled it out all over The Asylum, Ryder trying his best to keep Jones out for the 10 count. As Jones started to get the upper hand, Danny D’s masterplan kicked into action when The Commissioner attacked the referee, putting himself in the official’s place. Jones continued to battle through, hitting the KTFO on Ryder and covering the former “Mr. 450” for the 3 count. Or what should have been a three count, if the referee was anyone other than our Commissioner. Lucian went ballistic at Danny D, who continued to jibe the “King of Bling” in an attempt to get Jones to hit him and lose his title. What Lucian didn’t see was Dan Ryder sneak up behind him, and shove the champion into Danny D, causing the “referee” to disqualify Jones for laying his hands on an official. Enraged by this decision “The Sultan of Swagga” was last seen in chasing Danny D from The Asylum. No matter how controversial the decision may be, (and believe me, The Asylum fans made their discontent more than obvious!) we have a new AWW Champion, Dan Ryder.

Winner and NEW AWW Champion: Dan Ryder (w/Mrs Ryder)

Only a couple of days away from AWW's next show in West Bromwich, and we've just received a bit of last minute news from AWW HQ:

Fight Club Pro will be in action!
FCP's invaders, Trent Se7en & "The Dragon" Zak Martinez have both confirmed their attendance at West Bromwich this Sunday, which no doubt spells trouble for anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Trent Se7en in particular has been very vocal about how "lucky" the Hunter Brothers were to beat them at The Asylum, and has guaranteed they WILL "make an example of anyone AWW choose to face us".

We've already seen the devastation that the FCP crew can unleash, but to what lengths are Trent and Martinez willing to go to prove THEY are the dominant force in AWW?

AWW @ West Bromwich
March 7th Results

Yet another night of shocks lay in store for the AWW faithful at West Bromwich, with one of the biggest surprises of the night awaiting former champion, Lucian L. Jones. Read on to find out more…

“The Sheriff” JK Royde vs. “Thee Magnificent One” Heratio

You can’t blame the undefeated JK Royde for feeling confident heading into West Bromwich. Since his debut in AWW, “The Sheriff” has left a trail of destruction in his way, besting each and every challenge set before him. This time it was Tag Title Tournament Finalist, Heratio’s turn to face the impressive Royde. Heratio put up strong fight against JK, but the power and intellect of the big man proved overwhelming to the tag team specialist.

Your winner, the still undefeated “Sheriff” JK Royde.

“Sexual White Chocolate” Dave Williams vs. Tenacious Lee

With Desirable Danny D banned from the venue, Dave Williams was left on his own to face off against Tenacious Lee, the youngster specifically requesting to face Dave one more time following their previous match at The Asylum. Lee fought hard in the match, looking to finally score an upset of Danny D’s right hand man, but unfortunately it was not to be Lee’s night, with Dave finishing his opponent in ruthless fashion.

Following the match Dave Williams grabbed the microphone from ring announcer Mike, and informed the West Bromwich crowd that he was no longer “Sexual White Chocolate” and that he was now to be referred to as “The Assassin”. We’ve recently received news that Danny D is not happy with Dave dropping the moniker given to him by the AWW Commissioner, going as far as to say “Dave Williams belongs to me! He will call himself what I tell him to call himself, and as far as AWW and myself are concerned Dave Williams is, and will always be “Sexual White Chocolate”!”

Your winner by pinfall, “Sexual White Chocolate” Dave Williams

MK Mikinan vs “The Messiah” Brandon Thomas

MK Mikinan was immediately thrown off his game plan upon his arrival at the venue, being informed that Anarchy would no longer be his opponent, and that MK would be facing off against the self-proclaimed “Messiah” Brandon Thomas.

With little time to prepare for his opponent, MK held his own as best he could, weathering the relentless assault of “The Messiah”. As the match progressed, MK started to find his feet, finally clicking back into his rhythm and displaying the ring skills that have made him a firm fan favourite. Mikinan continued to battle through, and regardless of having the match sprung on him at the last minute, managed to secure the victory.

Now MK is back to his winning ways, you have to believe he has his eyes set on former mentor Dan Ryder and the AWW Championship. Can MK continue this form all the way to a title shot?

Your winner by pinfall, MK Mikinan.

Fight Club Pro vs. Bobby Barratt & “Starman” Mark Clarke

The FCP War Machines vowed to destroy anyone in their path at West Bromwich, and they held true to their promise, unleashing wave after wave of destruction on Barratt & Clarke. In what was a mostly one sided affair, Fight Club Pro unleashed some of the built up frustration from their loss to the Hunter Brothers, but Zak Martinez and Trent Se7en will not be happy until they are recognised as THE dominant force in AWW.

Your winners by pinfall, Fight Club Pro.

AWW Championship Match
Dan Ryder (w/Mrs Ryder) © vs. Lucian L. Jones

New Champion Dan Ryder has to feel the rest of the AWW Roster breathing down his neck. No sooner has he won the title, he finds himself thrown back into a hastily arranged rematch against former champion Lucian L. Jones. But with Desirable Danny D banned from the venue, would Dan Ryder be able to silence his critics by beating Jones in a fair one-on-one match.

The match itself saw both men put their all into winning the right to be AWW Champion, the fight spreading from the ring out into the crowd, and around the venue. Both men enjoyed spells of having the upper hand, and trying to choose a winner was too close to call for many in the crowd.

Unfortunately we never found out exactly who would have won a fair match, thanks to a masked mystery man (with dreadlocks) heading out to ringside and blasting “The Sultan of Swagga” in the face with a chair. After the hellacious chair shot it was simply a matter of Ryder hitting the “JoyRyde” and scoring the 3 count.

Dan Ryder lives to fight another day, and beat a hasty retreat as a woozy Jones grabbed the microphone and left a final message for the AWW Commissioner…”Whatever happens next, you brought it on yourself!”

Your winner and still AWW Champion, Dan Ryder.

What did Lucian mean by “you brought it on yourself”? How will Dave Williams react to Danny’s announcement about “Sexual White Chocolate”, and how will Dan Ryder fair in his next title defence?

Join us at The Asylum on March 26th to find out!
