Basham vs Moralez March 13th

Dynamic Pro Wrestling is proud to be able to announce the first details for our upcoming celebration!!

Join Dynamic Pro Wrestling on March 13th 2010 as we celebrate our 2 Year Anniversary!

A lot has happened over the past 2 years in Dynamic Pro Wrestling and we have seen many faces grace the ring to entertain the crowds and come March 13th 2010 we are changing venue to bring you our biggest show yet!

Those of you that were at our last show, "The 12 Fights of Christmas" Will have already heard the following announcements and I'm sure you will be as excited as we are for the upcoming anniversary. So without further ado lets begin with announcing some things:

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Doug Basham makes his return to Dynamic Pro Wrestling. Doug Basham has taken the decision to retire from professional wrestling in the coming months but wants to take the oppertunity to meet his British fans just one more time. After speaking with Doug about this, he told us that he enjoyed his visit to Morley, Leeds so much he simply couldnt pass up the chance to return one more time to put on a goodbye performance!

Cameron Kraze finally gets to face The Juice, CJ Banks one-on-one for the Dynamic Pro Wrestling British Championship. After beating the team of CJ Banks and Rainz on our last show, Cameron Kraze demanded the chance at "2 Years Old!" After also defeating Fight Club in a handicap match earlier this year, it has quickly been decided by DPW management to grant this request and so on March 13th 2010 Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze will finally face The Juice, CJ Banks one-on-one with the DPW British Championship on the line!

Martin Kirby aims to the retire the Manson Weight Championship FOR GOOD!
After defeating Voodoo in a No.1 Contenders match for the Manson Weight Championship, Martin Kirby now goes on to face the Mad Man himself at "2 Years Old!" Kirby has always proclaimed he is nothing but a 110% serious person in the ring and despite some of his actions during matches he maintains this claim and that not only is Mad Man Manson "Stupid" but his title is also "Stupid" If Martin Kirby defeats Mad Man Manson on March13th then the Manson Weight Title will be retired forever, HOWEVER.. If Mad Man Manson is instead victorious, then Martin Kirby will be forced to form a tag team with the Mad Man forever!

Kris Travis is a man with revenge on his mind after General Manager Christopher Brammer not only dispensed with his services but also barred him from the venue on December 5th. However, he didn't heed this and still managed to show up at the venue with steel chair in hand. He took out hired security and then cornered Mr. Brammer. It didn't look good for the General Manager until Scotty Hexx made an appearance and Mr. Brammer made it into a match. However it didn't go the way of the big man with an angry and fired up Kris Travis easily running rings around him and collecting the victory after an attempt by Scotty Hexx to hit Travis with the chair backfired. After the match Travis again cornered Mr. Brammer with the steel chair and, with the crowd baying for Mr. Brammers blood, demanded the chance to fight him. Mr. Brammer agreed to this if he was let go, and once Travis did, Mr. Brammer than added that firstly however.. Travis would need to defeat the Big Dawg Rainz at "2 YEARS OLD!" in a NO HOLDS BARRED match!

Sykes books himself on to the show! Following a devastating attack on Robbie X by Steve Sykes, El Ligero came out to save Robbie from further attacks and what ensued was a match between Sykes and El Ligero so heated that the venue's fire alarms were set off and wouldn't turn off for over 40 minutes! Sykes seems to think that despite his success elsewhere across the country Dynamic Pro Wrestling are purposely not bothering to book him show after show. After Sykes lost the match (blaming this on Robbie X distracting him) he rather angrily announced that at the "2 YEARS OLD!" show that if DPW were not going to book him a match, he would again book himself onto the main show and announced that he will bring friends and that Ligero should bring friends and it will be an all out tag war. We will bring you more details of this as each man names their team.

13.12.2009

Over the course of the weekend both Sykes and El Ligero (via his interpreter) have contacted Dynamic Pro Wrestling to give us the first names of the guys they are recruiting to join them on March 13th 2010.

Sykes decided to apparently "book himself onto the main DPW shows" after Dynamic Pro Wrestling apparently forgot about him time and time again. He took it upon himself to attack Robbie X after he won his match and hit him with some devastating offence before El Ligero came out to make the save. Sykes then demanded a microphone and proceeded to inform everyone at the show that what happened to both Matt Myers (Pre-Show) and Robbie X were the fault of both DPW Management and El Ligero himself and somehow we ended up with such a heated match between Ligero and Sykes that the venues fire alarms were somehow triggered and couldn't be turn off for over 40 minutes! Sykes lost the impromptu match but blamed this on Robbie X coming back out to support El Ligero and decided that a re-match was in order at Dynamic Pro Wrestling : 2 Years Old!

Team Sykes
sykes was the first to us this weekend with not one, but TWO of the three names that will be joining him on March 13th. He has decided that due to their image and style they will both perfectly fit into his team and work well to both win and furthermore hurt Team Ligero. Sykes informed us that a well established Tag Team will be joining him in this match up and that they have won success all over the country. They have graced the ring of DPW once previously, making their return to dynamic Pro Wrestling at 2 Years Old! for Team Sykes will be FIGHT CLUB

Team Ligero
As mentioned El Ligero has also contacted us, via his interpreter, to inform us of HIS first choice for the match. He tells us that his choice took absolutely no time to consider and was just as quick to accept the chance to get into the ring with Sykes for some fair revenge. The first name to be joining Team Ligero will be little Robbie X

A Monster Arrives..

Dynamic Pro Wrestling can today announce Doug Basham's opponent for our 2 Years Old! show next March 13th 2010.

A lot of names have been passed about the management of DPW on who should face Basham on this momentous occasion. Not only is it the second anniversary of Dynamic Pro Wrestling AND not only is it the return of Doug Basham to Dynamic Pro Wrestling a year after his first appearance.. but it is also Doug Basham's retirement tour here in the UK.

We wanted to make the match both special and something to remember. Doug Basham has had an illustrious career spanning both a number of years and a number of top level promotions and we welcome him back with open arms at Dynamic Pro Wrestling. At our 1 Year Old! show Doug Basham faced some stiff competition in Dragon Aisu who held nothing back when they both stepped between the ropes and for our second anniversary we have picked an opponent who will show both the same level of aggression and determination as Dragon Aisu.. IF NOT MORE!

Facing the retiring and former WWE champion on March 13th at DPW : 2 Years Old! will be the Human Hate Machine himself Dave Mastiff!!

06.01.10

A star is launched..

Come March 13th, Dynamic Pro Wrestling will be opening its doors to someone new, making his début will be the very highly rated Lionheart! Hailing from Scotland, Lionheart is one of the hottest stars in the country right now taking wins from all corners of the country. Lionheart has had a phenomenal couple of years and will look to continue that form when he comes to the Town Hall for Dynamic Pro Wrestling on March 13th 2010! The fans will be in for a treat when he hits the ring as this charismatic young man will look to impress on his début.

As yet his opponent has not been named but Lionheart will be more than a match for almost anyone and will be looking to make sure whoever he faces knows this when they face off on March 13th

15.10.01

The Myatt Legacy Return

Keith and son Ryan return again to Dynamic Pro Wrestling for our second anniversary show riding high on 2 consecutive victories. The family connection translates well into the ring and they are setting themselves as a formidable team to face at DPW. They have also managed to find themselves on the wrong side of the fans after insulting and intimidating many in attendance. They most certainly don't seem to enjoy coming to Leeds for any reason other than picking up victories and so you cant see them wanting to stop that any time soon. At this moment we dont know who The Myatt Legacy will be facing
on March 13th but its sure to be a fiery encounter no matter what!

The Righteous Christopher Brammer goes soft?

It seems that the recent stresses of both Kris Travis and helping keep the DPW British Championship on his friend CJ Banks are taking their toll on Mr. Brammer. You may remember that back in February 2009 at "DPW : 1 Year Old!" Mr. Brammer finally saw the match he made come to fruition and El Ligero faced off against Bingo Ballance in a Last Man Standing match that pitted El Ligeros mask against the DPW contract of Bingo Ballance. The match was born from frustration by Mr. Brammer when it seemed that nothing would stop these two competitors trying to get at each other, often at the expense of other matches.

At the end of that show, there was indeed only one man left standing and that was El Ligero. Bingo Ballance had lost the match and therefore his stay within DPW.Despite all this Bingo received a round of applause because despite his reasoning's, people saw the determination within the Irish man to win at all cost's.

People would have been forgiven for thinking this was the last appearance of Bingo Ballance in a DPW ring, however that was not to be. On the very last DPW show.. Mr. Brammer, while confident that his group of friends would win, allowed Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze to bring along with him ANY partner of his choosing for a tag match main event and it just so happened that Cameron is a good friend with Bingo Ballance.

It seems that in his time away from DPW Bingo has had the chance to reflect on the actions he took against El Ligero and has somewhat repented for them. In Leeds anyway travelling to a show to the south on the Sunday, when Cameron contacted Bingo to see if he was interested, Bingo jumped at the chance. And so it was that Cameron Kraze brought the fans of DPW an early Christmas present.

It is then that Bingo Ballance along with new found friends Cameron Kraze and even El Ligero (via his translator) went to Mr. Brammer to demand that Bingo be given one last chance to prove himself and it seems that the under pressure Mr. Brammer has done just that.

Ahead of the possibility of having to face Kris Travis if the Big Dawg Rainz cant defeat him, Mr. Brammer has relented and given Bingo Ballance ONE LAST CHANCE. If Bingo Ballance can win his match at the up coming "DPW : 2 Years Old!" then he will be invited to negotiate a new contract with Mr. Brammer and Dynamic Pro Wrestling. However if he fails to win, he will be again banished from DPW, only this time it will be forever!

With this now in mind, Mr. Brammer has also made the match that will be make or break for Bingo. On March 13th Bingo Ballance will face one of Scotland's fastest rising star, Lionheart.

You'd do well to not let WWE get wind of your poster.

Don't think they knew about the VPW incident as I've only really seen it posted here. But I agree it's a bit stupid to use the actual logo rather then just say Former WWE Wrestler.

It's not just the use of the logo, it's the use of it in the dead centre of the poster, as the biggest section of "text" in the poster and the fact they've basically made the WWE logo the focal point of the poster.

I'm also always a bit wary when I see someone billed as a former WWE (or World) Champion when that's not the case, instead, in this case, he is a former champion in WWE. But hey, it's the wrestling business, a bit of creative license is par for the course.

After seeing that other poster that got the promotion in trouble...I'm baffled at the fact that another promotion would do it.

But isn't the logo trademarked property of WWE?

Definitely Mastiff, apparently Americans might think Dave is Mexican. I can't see how on God's green Earth they'd make that mistake, but I like the name change.
