Eddie Guerrero or Rey Mysterio?

Dont get me wrong I didnt say all of that as an either/or thing. Despite this being a vs thread, I guess, I already said I love both but prefer Rey and this isnt me needing to decide as much as me responding to everyone else in this thread being in some big ass denial that Rey is awesome.

Eddie is an awesome promo and beats the sh*t out of Rey, although I think Rey can be underrated on the mic since he's more just bland rather than particularly bad at it.

Not sure I'd agree that promos are MORE important than matches though. Important to whom I guess is the question. They are probably more important in terms of making money and getting over and all that, but I've said from the beginning these threads are about rating their performance as wrestlers rather than who was more successful or sold more whatevers.

In terms of performance, it depends on the wrestler to me. Some guys like, say, Kennedy, their promos are more important to me in evaluating them. Others like Eddie, promos are a part of the package. Others again like Rey, I dont give a single sh*t about them. But for me personally promos arent nearly as important as matches the vast majority of the time. Not that you cant have a different view mind.

I get the impression in this thread that it is mostly "he's not as good as Eddie Guerrero", but there are quite a few people who actually dont like him as well.

Maybe we need a new question.
