There is no shame in failing, only in not having tried.
Don't mistake kindness for weakness
I've looked up a ton of Milk reviews(I do this after watching every movie I... watch) and haven't seen many criticisms at all, all praise pretty much everything. I mean I am sure there are bad reviews out there, like the Alabama Lynching and Leviticus Gazette would hate it, but in general all the reviews I've read have been good.
Penn vs Rourke is a tough call, the feeling was that Rourke deserved it for returning from oblivion, though it was a great performance as well. That is a good story and all but I think Penn's performance was better if I'm judging just on merit, I can definitely see why people would disagree though.
Last film watched, PUMPING IRON. Seen it a couple of times, Arnold is godly in this, hilarious line after hilarious line.

The three rules of winning an Oscar; Go gay, go retarded, go Holocaust.
I preferred The Wrestler to Milk, but I love them both.
Considering that there were gay and mentally ill people in the Holocaust anyway, you'd think someone would have already done it.
Forrest Gumps French, gay, retarded 3rd cousin twice removed, Foret Gomp?
