    Here's some more:

But enough of that...let's have something that can crush skulls when played at the correct volume. My pick for this year's big thing in Dubstep is xKore. Seriously, remember that name, I reckon he's gonna be BIG. This is currently my favourite of his tunes:

Well, there goes one of my music club picks through my own damn impatience!

Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People? I'm assuming not because that song most certainly isn't dubstep, but I don't know of any other version. Link?

Hence the confusion. Makes sense now.

I'm not huge on dubstep (as in, I don't know enough to make a pie chart), but I know enough to know a few points:

    1) Skrillex is the acceptable face of dubstep but mostly considered to be a lazy, uninspiring one by those within. Like Slipknot with heavy metal music, he's the gateway to the real stuff. He's considered to be 'brostep', along with Excision:

    2) Dubstep merges astonishingly well with rock music:

    3) Nero are pretty sh*thot at dubstep:

And Noisia are pretty good dubstep producers, although you might consider both to be more straight electronic.

    4) If you don't know Bass Cannon, I don't know what to tell you:

Jeez Korn really do suck nowadays. I mean I fully condone the idea of mixing Rock and Dubstep (or Metal and Dubstep, which I'm interested in having a crack at myself. I'm gonna call it Metastep. It's the future, trust me.), but man, Korn are just really, really awful. Like reaaaaally awful.

Nero on the other hand continue to blow me away. I'm hoping to catch them live sometime soon, they look like they put on an awesome live show. In fact take a look, see what you think (starts about 45 seconds in, change your quality to HD, otherwise it distorts to holy hell):

I don't mind Skrillex. Well actually I only like three tracks. May as well post them for consistencies sake:

I was gonna post bass cannon but I had assumed everyone's heard it because everyone's heard it.

We'll respectfully disagree on Korn. As someone who had to sit patiently through Untitled and Remember Who You Are, the new album is the first one since See You On The Other Side that is on high rotation on my iPhone, and Narcissistic Cannibal is my favourite Korn single since Here To Stay. Plus, more importantly, they still absolutely smash it live. Seeing them for the 6th time in March and am more excited to see them than any time beforehand.

Don't get me wrong I LOVED Korn & Life is Peachy back in the day, but they just seem to have steadily declined ever since then. Each to their own and all that.
