That was one of my problems with it too, but they're pretty much fixed it.

They have and they haven't - if you are good at timing counters and fight with a good fighter versed with a few kicks (Jon Jones, Anderson Silva or a well trained CAF) then a well head kick to counter a punch will get a flash KO or knock down leading to a TKO.

I recommend the Silva front kick, the Silva spinning heel kick or the Karate Back kick as these keep a good distance between you and whoever your facing and when they are at level 3 they can be devastating.

Currently taking a break from UFC 3 - I need to clear Title mode with about 20 or so more fighters and then I will have completed 25% of the game. I hate playing online so I won't have the online achivements but once I get that 25% one and the submission slam or stomp escape (which I still somehow don't have) I'll have all of the offline achievements.

Metal Gear HD collection, even after all these years these games are still absolutely absorbing.

FIFA Street 2012 on the PS3. By no means great, but satisfyingly difficult to do the tricks, and to be fair, is a pretty excellent arcadey title with a kicking soundtrack.

    Cheers!

finally bought WM3 today, £25 at Tesco. Absolutely thrilling game, fighting of Russians in Manhattan is brilliant. Well worth the money, but I assure you it is not worth the £40 many shops were pricing it at.

Didn't think much of the original Prototype, is the sequel better?

I actually didn't play the first game but yeah it's a free roaming bad-ass of a game, so far so good anyways.

It looks pretty much identical to the first one. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as they've done something about the stupid repetition of the missions from the first game.
