But I'm not complaining about Sheamus being portrayed as a stereotypical Irish guy. Because he doesn't play the stereotypical Irish character that the Americans think of when they think of Ireland.

Just look at how Funaki, Kozlov and many others have been put into pathethic roles that play on the stereotypes of their countries.
Look I was just quoting Sheamus, no need for a witch-hunt.

EDIT: When foreigners think of the Irish they think of stupid drunks. And he just wants to show another part of the Irish thats not talked about abroad. The warrior side.
    CRINGE f***ING CRINGE!

GoldStandard, please wake up. This is 2010. Nobody in Ireland is a warrior!

Its not like Sheamus (he's called Sheamus!) the 'Celtic Warrior', pale skin, ranga, calling people "fella", with a cross necklace and a Gaelic word on his trunks...isnt a little stereotypical.

But because its cooler than a drunk leprechaun, its OK.

Also, EVERY culture has warriors! Stop acting like being a warrior is something specific to Ireland. Shall we have a British S.A.S. wrestler, and French Frankish wrestler, and a German Prussian Death Header wrestler, and a Russian cossack wrestler, and a Arabic saracen, and an African zulu, and a Latino guerrilla? Being "a warrior" has nothing to do with being Irish at all.

Sheamus's gimmick is Triple H, with an Irish accent. That's about as much as his "Irish Warrior" gimmick amounts to.

    It gets better!

You now saying Sheamus is a clone of an Irish man from like..a hundred years ago!

Yeah, the potato famine. When men had to wear tiny pants, big boots and lots of hairspray.

Yeah because the drunk leprechaun is nonsense and makes Ireland a laughing stock.
Sheamus actually looks like an Irish fighter. Remember Steve Collins those of ye from Britain?

Walk down any main street in Ireland at 2am on a Saturday night, that's nothing to be proud of.

I know. He's just showing that there's more to the Irish than being a drunk.
My wording has been terrible tonight.
