Andy i knew ud say something like that.

To be honest, i cant remember alot of the good ones that were released in 2001 *** like i have forgotten wot was released in the early months., and i bet alot of ppl are like that. i highly rate feeder - just a day, and sum 41 - fat lip, both top songs..but the best in my opinion is alien ant farm - smooth criminal.

The only decent bit of that Bubba Sparxxx song is the ending "Come on Bubba, let's go" hehe

Mine would be either

Sum 41 - Fat Lip

or

Feeder - Just a Day.

I liked Let Robeson Sing by the Manic Street Preachers. Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of, Elevation and Walk On were all good as well, but I'm just a big fan of U2 anyway.

Let Robeson Sing by Manic Street Preachers - hands down, by a mile etc etc etc

That's about it really, erm... Supreme by Robbie Williams, was that 2001 or 2000?

In The End by Linkin Park gave them a sliver of credibility also.

The Vulcanized One

DMX-Who They Be or Feeder-Just a Day.

If Once Around the Block by Badly Drawn Boy was out in 2001 then that as well.

I have a varied taste in music

I honestly cannot pick any song I could call the best this year.

This really makes me want to cry, in my opinion 2001 has been one of the worst years for music, the Major League prat known as Scott Stapp, pretentious pop "artistes", equally pretentious "metal" and "punk" bands, the inconceivably pretentious antics U2, the irritating mopingof Staind, Slipknot and top it all off, the self destruction of Metallica with Jason's departure, James' alcoholism, Kirk's indifference and Lars' ego continuing to grow at an alarming rate . :cry

"i think feeder could establish themselves as the best british band" - Oh my God, I almost feel like crying! You had the world at your fingertips. A blossoming music career, a house in Miami, a beautiful Brazilian model as your new wife and a young son. Why Jon? Why?

Anyway, I really can't pick a song. There wasn't much in the way of quality songs to chose from last year. However, hopefully things will pick up a little this year when the Chili Peppers finally release their new album!!! New material - woooooo.

RIP - Jon Lee

4 power chords with 80% of the effort and sustain coming from a pedal is marvellous guitar work?, either standards have really dropped or people like that guy,er...what's his name....Clapton were trying too hard.

Party Hard had slipped my mind, it's no Puppetz but it'll do. :D
