Can anyone give any tips?Outside bets would be White Sox, Braves and Cardinals
All have had poor seasons recently but have the potential to recapture their former glory if they get good starts to the season

Take it from a baseball fan, here is why the red sox won't win this year, it's because they have won last year. This year a team with the longest curse in history of sports need's to make it close. The cubs have a losing streek of 100 years. but I cant see them beating the St. Louis Cardinals again this year, so they need to try to win the wild card.
Mets, baby.
Astros (my team) Suck tho, don't bet them.

Cant understand your logic there mate, the Cards look terrible this year! The rotation looks mediocre, the bullpen stinks, the outfield looks terrible and now Rolen and Edmonds have gone there's a complete lack of protection behind Pujols. The Cubs on the other hand look solid as they did this time last year, Derek Lee and Soriano should rebound from down years last year and Fukudome looks a good addition to the outfield.
My money's going on Detroit. Cabrera, Willis and Renteria look great additions to an already excellent team, and with the mangerial skills of Jim Leyland they should be going places. Can see them beating the Dodgers in the WS come October
