It's either gonna be Woods or an unknown probably. Links golf (by the sea or on the coast) is devilishly tricky to play and usually comes down to a lottery. The course is arguably one of the trickiest on the Open rotation as was shown in 1999 when Scot Paul Lawrie won with a score of 6 over par - the vast majority of winners usually finish quite a bit under par!

Come on Steve Stricker, I put a £1 on him to win on thurs at 100/1 and a £1 e/w at 40/1 today. He's only a couple of shots off the lead at the mo!

I actually thought his short game was excellent today, he just seems so wayward off the tee. It was interesting listening to Faldo talking about it this morning on how Tiger has changed his swing.

IMO he has never been the same player when he left Butch Harmon,yes he is and incredible scrambler but he is just to dam wild off the tee.
I think tomorrow it different to alot of majors recently with the fact that none of the leading players will be playing with Woods.
Luke Donald and Garcia are 2 names that have felt the pressure in Majors playing the last round with him.

Should be gutted that Stricker's mediocrity on the green's lost me £150 quid but as Harrington is in my top 5 favourite golfers im not that disheartened. Had you asked me at the start who i wanted to win i would have said in order - Monty, Ernie Els, Phil Mickleson then Padraig. Also great to see a European win a major since the same championship at the same course in '99!
