Emerson out of World Cup

Brazil captain and AS Roma star Emerson is out of the world cup after injuring his shoulder in training, he was doing goalie in a 6 aside match and the injury happened when he tried to stop a Rivaldo shot.

I think because the injury happened before there first match Brazil can replace him.

I've read the article about it, he must be absolutely gutted to miss a World Cup because of something so trivial. But he's 26, so he should have at least one more finals in him-though with his luck Brazil will probably miss their first ever World Cup in 2006!
