Why is it everytime someone is banned there are comments made to mods about why that person should or shouldn't have been banned which pans out into a huge slanging match in the middle of the chatroom? Surely the mods decision is final, even if people don't agree with it.

I'm not sure why Anna. Never been in that type of situation :devil lol. Maybe the person was banned UNFAIRLY, or the Mod holds grudges to long? I'm not sure!

well, mayb e the grudge is justified for people having a go at other people on MSN and in other places to other people who aren't involved... but hey, you wouldn't care about that would you? No.

ILL that was uncalled for. This is the sort of stuff i'm talking about. I left the chatroom earlier on because of it, no-one wants to see two people who are meant to be mature, sensible people bickering like children in the room. There is no space for any other conversation there and when I suggested it stopped I got told to shut up.

Whoever banned whoever for whatever reason is irrelevant, the fact of the matter it that that is something that the banned person needs to take up with the mod who banned them, not people that are sweet on the banned person.

It seems to me that this problem is becoming more apparent, and yes i'll admit to doing the very same thing in the past but atleast now I realise how disrupting it is on the chatroom and how many problems it causes, and wouldn't be likely to do it again.

and now i get banned for no reason? This is what happened:


I left the room cuz i was not talking much. Inno told me to sod off so i came back in the room. Then Inno was insulting me so i told him im not saying anything cuz i don't wanna be banned. Dean said "You will be if you b!tch about it." Then i said "That is why i am not saying anything" (meaning i don't wanna be banned.) Then Dean said "Say Buh Bye" and then he said " U brought this on urself". then he kicked me. Sooooooo not fair :cry

Ah...the chatroom...Do I miss it? Let's analyse it shall we.

A moderated room, yet a number of mods are abusive and condescending...so much so that they would probably have no friends or get beaten up if like that in that big bad and scarey outside world, which they wouldn't because very few people actually are like that.

Then, the chatters...almost every single one of them is two faced or attention seeking. "Blah blah blah is a bleep" *** comes in "Oh hello blah blah, how are you." *** leaves "Yeah, you're right blah blah blah is a blah blah"

So, what we have are people in power abusing it and expecting compliance like a father with a two year old crying and being dragged through the streets. Plus, chatters who are no different to everyone in the outside world only it's magnified in the chatroom as other people actually view your behaviour. I mean, who is Dean...who was Big Tam and spent quite a bit of time being abusive on numerous message boards...to talk about anybody being abusive or to moderate their behaviour.

The third thing to be thrown in the mix is the guys like Lui and Smoking Demon...who inevitably are there to just be mocked.

Finally, the ones who run to MSN with screen caps and the like as if they have NEVER been abusive or spoken about someone in their life.

Solutions:-

1.) Realise that you're NEVER going to meet most of these people anyways and that it doesn't matter a rats fart if anyone talks about you.

2.) Don't have the mods in blue, infact don't tell anyone who the mods are and BAN any chatter who continually says "haha, you got booted, haha!"

Follow these two simple little guidelines and everything will be fine. If nobody knows who the mods are, the mods needn't act like mods except to hit the boot button...no warning, no "well, you should have thought of that" and no "nobody wants to hear it" when 6 people are actually having a discussion about some topic or other.

"You just want to be a mod Tsu!" No, that would be like me going and supporting Rangers...it's not worth being associated with the other Rangers fans and it's not worth the hassle. Especially when you get idiots sending you viruses just for not booking someone who can jump off a tree.

Away from being mods I'm sure each of them are very nice people...infact I've met Dean and know he is a very nice person...but there's just something about that blue font that, it's an intangible really. Well, unless you're Mike Aldren and you're a piece of trash 24/7.
