Yikes, Liddel Vs Horn? They're certainly not giving Chuck an easy start to his title reign.

As for Randy Vs Van Arsdale, I imagine that will be a wrestling clinic. Couture will probably want to keep it on his feet and stick with the dirty boxing in the clinch that he loves so much, but even then he'll be more than comfortable if he can control the fight on the ground.

Looks to be a really interesting show, and UFC 53 isn't even out of the way yet! I'm also hearing that the new trainers for The Ultimate Fighter series 2 will be Matt Hughes and the winner of tonight's Franklin Vs Tanner fight. Any ideas when it starts on Spike TV? If UFC 54 takes place during or just after the new series, they'll probably get another great buyrate.

it starts august 22nd...other news....

The next UFC event will be a live special on SpikeTV called "Ultimate Fight Night." The show will premeire on August 6th on SpikeTV and will be a regular 2-3 hour show like a UFC pay-per view event, only free of charge. The main-event on that card will be former King of Pancrase Nathan Marquardt, making his UFC debut against current veteran Ivan Salaverry. The undercard will feature fighters who competed in the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter." I know Chris Leben is supposed to be on this card for sure. I'm not sure which other fighters, but doubtful it will include Forrest Griffin or Diego Sanchez.

The UFC 26-taped hour long shows will be called "UFC Unleashed." No real specific information was given on what will air on these specials. The first airs on July 25th after Raw

-Shooting for the second season of "The Ultimate Fighter" will begin on Monday. The second season of TUF will premeire on SpikeTV on August 22nd

Here is what we know for the UFC 54: Boiling Point card, which takes place live on pay-per view, August 20th, from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, on pay-per view:

-Chuck Liddell (c) vs. Jeremy Horn (UFC LHW Title)
-Randy Couture vs. Mike Van Arsdale
-Frank Trigg vs. Georges St. Pierre
-Diego Sanchez vs. TBA

(Tim Sylvia and David Terrell are also rumored to be on this card)

a busy couple of months and great news for ufc fans
