Should all the british federations come together to make one large federation to gain more exposure from the media?

It's the only way you could wrestling back on the TV. Will it happen? I doubt it.

What's needed...and I'm getting almost sick of saying this, as it's the only true way forward whilst everything is as it is...is to have a large UK Promotion which runs a monthly show, which gets televised, and is made up of talent from EVERY UK promotion within reason.
You then have the other UK Promotions working as Regional ones.
Let's say you limit the amount of guys each promotion can have to say 4, this increases competition during the shows and Promotions can run more as there's increased interest, competition, exposure and finance coming in.
Looking at the UK from top to bottom, you have SCW, IWF, Hammerlock, WAW, FWA, TWA and let's say the AIWF group as one Promotion (Just for sake of arguments, before I get e-mailed by Sovereign officials.)...plus, All Star who could actually make a bloody bomb and get themselves onto TV pretty quickly if Dixon wanted to.
You take the following:-
Scott McKenzie, Marco Di Fiore, Assassin, Majik, Gary Steele, Johnny Moss, Jodie Fleisch, Jonny Storm, Doug Williams, Scott Parker, New Breed, UK Pitbulls, Robbie Brookside, Zebra Kid, Dominator and Andy Hogg just for starters...my AIWF is rusty, so excuse me for not actually adding anyone, erm Timm Wylie perhaps. That's a pretty damned good first show, no need for any Americans to be overpaid and overhyped above everyone else and the UK scene can progress from there.
Part 2 to follow...

Part 2...
So, how does all this get booked and controlled???
Well, the head of each Promotion joins a main Committee...There would be no need for a Head of Committee as a few ground rules would remove any necessity for this. Firstly, Rankings are covered by a very simple system where each seperate Promotion has their Top 5 Heavyweights, Cruiserweights and Tag Teams and they are marked on a sliding scale x2...each Promoter then gives their Top 3 in each Division from all the Promotions, meaning each Promoter gives 9 external votes and leads you to have the definitive 10 in each Division for the main Promotion.
The actual booking of matches is fairly simple also, as by now everyone should have swallowed their pride and realised exactly what the greater good is...you just look at the Rankings, look at reactions and away you go, pretty simple really. Plus, as you are all involved with each other, there's no need to snipe, no need to allege that this promoter will not work with that Promoter AND you can finally get some guidelines laid down and put an end to tributes, or guys thinking 8 Saturday sessions means you can work a main evet.
To go back to Part one...here's a possible card:-
BWA (for arguments sake)
Heavyweight Title:- Gary Steele vs Doug Wiliams vs Robbie Brookside
Tag Team Title:- New Breed vs The UK Pitbulls
Cruiserweight Title: Marco Di Fiore, Jodie Fleisch, Jonny Storm, Zebra Kid and Majik...5 way TLC Match
Hardcore Title: Scott McKenzie vs The Dominator
Johnny Moss vs Scott Parker
Andy Hogg vs Stevie Knight
Assassin vs Timm Wylie
I know I'd travel and pay to watch it. :xyx

Well I have spent a lot of time thinking this one over, well before this poll. I honestly think it would be a real bad idea.
The reason being, each fed has probably 4 guys are that are real main event material, you take them away from the smaller feds, and its over, UK wrestling is Killed, you will have one show on TV for a year or two, then the TV companies will decide to pull the plugs and we are back to square 1. A lot of small and Large UK feds spend a lot of time training these stars up. For them to loose the stars of the show would be disastrous to the UK scene.
A TV Deal should be done, but maybe a regional title promotion, where each month all the promotions get some coverage, even if its a magazine type show, showing the odd matches from different federations. What better way to get the UK scene on the map. This is MY Vision and I am currently working with some one and trying to get the idea on paper and presenting it to a number of TV companies.
Bravo might not be interested anymore in Wrestling, but the campaign does not stop at the petition..

I knew I'd have to explain this all again... :)
Gary, under my proposal nobody would actually leave FWA, Hammerlock etc etc...the Larger promotion would merely use these wrestlers when the monthly show came around. Think of t along the lines of an old NWA Supershow when all the Champions and top talent would get together.
Having the talent going back to their promotion and having everyone fighting for the slots would give the UK scene a level or prosperity, interest and competition not seen in years.

Hey yo.
I think it's a cool idea but you'd have to ask a few Q's like who is the booker etc.
I think it would be good cause we have loads of wrestlers
But i feel it wouldn't work as small feds would be left out.
But it's a cool idea

Smaller feds are necessary to give guys completing their training to get match experience, I believe the smaller promotions that we've seen recently are all aware of that and would be happy to be the more developmental promotions within an ever expanding and more successful scene.

I think Tsu has got the right idea there. I don't know a lot about the UK scene, nor am I going to pretend to, but I think Tsu makes a great argument and I for one would be pleased to see it happen.

I think all feds should merge, but instead of one big fed, have 2 big feds to compete with each other. That'll make it more exciting

I think they should all merge as one, heres my plan:
Get Scott Future and call him "Swatch boy", have him feud with Tony Packman and the Bodmin Beast on House Shows. Headline televised shows with Jodie Richards, Jodie Filesch, Doug Williams, Marco Di Fiore, Gary Steele and Scott Parker. Get Tommy Boyd and Alex Shane do be the commentators, bring back Kendo Nagasaki to kcik start the whole thing with a world title tournament, you could have all the greats in there like Jushin Liger, Jerry Lynn, Kenta Kobashi, Hiero Hasimoto and add some former WWF Superstars for extra interest. Take a pinch of exciting mid and undercard participants like Mark Sloan, Zebra Kid, Low Ki, La Famillia, Majik, Kassius, GBH, Iceman and Gangster (hahaha, that last one was a joke, I'm not actually serious!) But if you get a good venue like Courtfields or Shilton youth centre in Walsall, you'll be made and British wrestling could get a TV contract on Men and Motors or Bidup TV until the BBC actually notice that Charlie Dimmick and ITV realise that the fat bloke for airport who's obviously queer (He always looks at blokes asses) no one wants them, bring on the UWCOUK - Unified Wrestling Company of UK or it could be UKWCOTUK - Unified Wrestling Company of THE UK
