Promising...if only because it'll surely be Scott Gemmill's last cap.

Had an absolutely cracking view of the match, two damned gifted goals and some of the best Scottish attacking play for years.

England should demolish Nigeria.

I'd have to agree with your comments there Tsu.

I think Scotland have some promising young players coming through and hopefully they can qualify for Euro 2004.

I also think Nigeria are totally disorganised behind the scenes and while they have some gifted players, I think they will finish bottom of their group with Sweden and England battling to join Argentina in the next round.

Although I didn't see the match things do look promising for Scotland with Bertie McVogts in charge. At least he's looking around for decent young players who can play for Scotland, an example being young Stockdale, rather than just continue choosing the old USA '94 squad again and again like Craig Brown did.
