Join us for the first ever Wrestling Character Skills
Seminar

The Character Skills Seminar is aimed at any

… working professional wrestler or wrestling trainee who
want to develop their public speaking, promo and acting
skills
… any guy or girl wanting to develop skills necessary
to be a stand out and successful valet or manager
… any guy or girl who wants to be prepared to be able
to cut promos on the spot and in the time given
… any guy or girl who want to learn the differences
between performing for the live audience and performing
for the television cameras
… any guy or girl who thinks they have what it takes to
make it as a performer in professional wrestling, whether
as a wrestler, valet, manager, ring announcer, interviewer,
or any other type of character.
… any guy or girl looking to learn the basic skills for
working for television or being prepared to handle being
interviewed live on the spot

This seminar is open to ANYONE over the age of 16 - it
doesn’t matter if you have never performed on a wrestling
show yet or whether you have been performing for years
but wish to develop your skills further. It is also open
to anyone from any training school or wrestling promotion.

Tutors:
FRANK SCANTORI: As well as being an acting and drama coach,
Frank Scantori is a full time actor, screenwriter, film
and theatre producer and director. He built his reputation
for strong leading and character roles in all styles of
theatre proving himself to be a very capable and adept
physical performer with equally proficient as both a comedy
and serious actor.

Frank will be ably assisted by the FWA’s best known talkers:
ALEX SHANE, DEAN AYASS and MARK PRIEST.

Date: Saturday 25th May
Venue: FWA Academy Portsmouth, Alliance House, St Mary's
Road, Fratton, Portsmouth

Price: £20 per person. Does not include food and drink.
Feel free to bring your own packed lunch if you do not wish
to eat at the local pubs or restaurants. Drinks can be
bought at the Academy.

Please secure your place by sending payment swiftly to the
address below as we can only allocate 30 places on the
seminar.

Recommendations: You may find it useful to bring a pen
and notepad to make notes during the day and also to help
write down a promo which you will give at the end of the
day for the “On Camera Screen Tests” session.
