Building an Online Wrestling Community

Talk Wrestling Online Forum Rules

Main Rules:

No excessive swearing

No spoilers - If you would like to post any spoilers, make sure you have *Spoiler* in the title.

No excessive caps - Please do not post threads in capitals, or have titles of posts in caps.

No flaming - Please do not try and provoke anyone into a fight.

The Administrator for the forum is: Kam.

The Senior Moderators for the forum are: Darkstar and Saz.

The main purpose of Talk Wrestling Online is to build an online COMMUNITY, so please follow the rules and be apart of the community.

Each forum has one forum leader or more who look after the forum, so if you have any suggestions please contact them. Here is a list of the current forum leaders (and moderators): Forum Leaders

TWO encourages everyone to take part in discussions and enjoy the community.

When posting, please remember:

* Language

Forum posts that contain explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed. We also do not allow links to pornographic, warez, or hates sites of any kind. Excessive swearing will also lead to warnings too, even if they are starred (for example: ****).

Also please note, we ask all users to try and refrain from using text (txt) speak when writing messages, as this can quite often make it difficult for other forum members to understand the messages properly.

* Spoilers

Wrestling shows are considered spoilers up until TWO DAYS after the event has aired in the UK!

All threads that are considered spoilers must first be posted in the Spoiler Forum:

Only post Raw/NXT/Smackdown/PPV spoilers in the official Raw/NXT/Smackdown/PPV threads, if you really feel your message deserves its own thread, make a new thread (in the Spoiler Forum) without giving anything away in the title.

RAW airs on Tuesday morning in the UK, so any posts about RAW should be considered spoilers up until Thursday. Smackdown airs on Friday in the UK, so any posts about Smackdown should be considered spoilers up until Sunday. PPVs air on Sunday, so any posts about them should be considered spoilers up until Tuesday.

If you would like to post about TNA, RoH or similar promotions, please title the thread with a clear heading, so any users who would not like to see any spoilers/results don't.

Also please see this thread about how to hide spoilers: HERE

* Caps

Typing in block capitals is considered shouting, so please do not post any titles, or posts in full caps.

* Flaming

Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so RESPECTFULLY and THOUGHTFULLY without insult and personal attack. Anyone attacking other members for no reason, will be warned/banned.

* Spam

Spam posts are not tolerated under any circumstance. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. Multiple warnings will lead to cool-offs or bannings. This includes the posting of a third party website which bears no relevence to the thread, or off topic posts which serve only to boost a user's post count.

The administrator and moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. Threads that contain multiple instances of spam may be closed at the disgression of the moderators. What is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to the administrator and moderators and not users.

* Images

You can post images in most of the forums, please try and keep all pictures relevant to the thread. HINT: It's best to save pictures from wrestling sites and upload them onto your own server. If you need someone to host an image for you, please ask. No images should contain pornography or racism, or be overly offensive. In other words, make sure the pictures are safe to view in the workplace.

* Rep Points

Reputation points are used on the forum as a way to reward good posts and posters. Please do not abuse the system by asking for rep points. It is there to reward, not to detract from those who truly deserve them.

Please keep all rep point related posts out of irrelevent threads. Telling people that you are going to rep them can be very annoying and unnecessary. Feel free to rep and leave a comment about it (in private). Do not fill the forum up with posts about who you repped, when, and why. Members can read your comments in their user control panel, so keep them there.

* Signatures

Signatures should be NO LONGER than 10 lines and 400 characters. The following also apply:

* Quote/Spoiler tags are NOT to be used.
* The maximum font size permitted is size 2.
* NO images are allowed.

Please keep your signature clean, and original.

* Links

If you have a website you wish to advertise, please use the Plug Forum. Alternatively, you may use our partner site WrestlingDirectory.co.uk to increase the number of hits to your site. You may also add a link in your signature.

No link may contain pornographic, illegal or hateful material, and any links posted outside of the Plug Forum with no relevence to a thread or that serves only as an advertisement will be deleted, and the user may be banned if the occurance continues.

* Multiple Accounts/Banned Users

A maximum of ONE account is allowed per person. We have the ability to track and match IP addresses on accounts. If you are found to be using two or more accounts, one or more of them will be deleted and you may be banned from TWO. Anyone allowing a banned user use of their account may also face having their account being suspended.

* Personal Information

TWO encourages you to keep personal information to yourself. Similarly, do not ask for personal information from others. Forum posts that request members to post personal information to another person will be removed. Information that should be considered personal includes but is not limited to your home phone number, address and email.
